urgent help needed to save this female plant.
i am growing outdoors amongst suburban australia.
i planted the seeds at the begining of summer and have been growing for a solid 3 months wat5ering daily and fertilizing every so often.
they are continuing through the vegetive stage but however have grown female hair pistils at corners.

The problem with the plants is that the lower leaves have been progressively turning light green and then yellow and dieing as a reult. the new growth remains somewhat regular but is soon affected in time. the female white pistil hairs sprouting from the corners have not been remaining white for long but turn brown soon after their growth. the plant is close to its flowering stage and needs to be recovered asap

please help

yeah i think hes right.if i had to guess id say she needs some nitrogen added to her diet.other that that she looks very healthy.

ya, yellowing is usually a sign of lacking nitrogen. give it some plant fewd with nitrogen in it, she will love you! :)

peace love respect

I noticed they are in Pots. What size pots are they in? I'm wondering if there's any chance they could be root bound? or possibly rooted into the water reservoir. If they're not root bound or rooted into the water reservoir, then possibly they are lacking nitrogen. Good Luck with a cure. By the way, where in the world is it summer this time of year?

Yes the plant is infact in a large pot, and has been for a long period of time since i last transplanted. A problem with the root system is quite possible as the roots have grown all throughout the pot. Does this mean i should transplant to a larger pot or add high nitrogen fertilizer. Yes it is summer in Aus would u believe haha

I've had the same problem with leaf curl in the past and potting up to a bigger size pot fixed the leaf curl. The yellowing looks to me like it is the lower big fan leaves. A plant that is 3 months old will drop a few of her lower big first original fan leaves.. This is normal. As long as it don't start yellowing and dropping leaves all the way up your plant. I would first try adding a nitrogen rich fertilizer and waiting a week to see if that helps. Soil grows take about a week for nutes to make a difference. If potting up is what is needed you will see an improvement in a matter of days. I'd try nitrogen and wait a week first. If no difference then try potting up to a bigger pot. You may also be able to just cut the bottom off the pots you are using and place them in pre-dug hole the diameter of the pots they are in.

Good Luck, I hope this helps.....
