Plant vs bug?

has anyone tried pitcher plants, butterworts, bladderworts, sundews, or fly traps in their grow room with any success? It seems like it would go well with a grow room if you got the right ones, plus you don't have to worry about feeding them, just watering. I can see them attracting gnats, flies, ect. If anyone doesn't say they haven't tried anything like this I'm gonna give it a test. At the very least I get fruit flies sometimes.

Yeah go with the fly traps, they do good work, they produce a stick nectar in the middle of the traps, great for attracting flying bugs.

Ive been told the same and im gonna put some sticky traps up, i get a lil bug once in awhile that sneaks in, i also just bought this spray its a 3in 1 kills all kinds of bugs mold, mildew etc, i sprayed 2 plants the other day everything looks good still good luck

I was thinking sundews like this, I don't know how well fly traps would work against gnats.

why not both? from my experience they both do a great job catching them

Guy on ebay is selling coke cans with 6 different types for 10 bucks including shipping, I'm thinkin' I'm gonna try it.

Check in lowes and home depots garden centers before you go paying 10 lol, the one near me had pitcher plants, sundews and fly traps, they came in these gimmicky looking clear plastic boxes already growing, just take them out of the tiny pot they come in and plant them in something a bit bigger.
They sell them for about 6 or 7 dollars.

yeah walmart sells those but this looks like it'd fit better in a grow room , at least my grow room lol.
