large pot but not extra large, was using sink water and some plant fertilizer. I feed it every time it consumes all the water in the dirt. I’m a beginner so I am just really trying to learn how to grow

Weed is not a tomato, they have different NPK needs, get nutes for cannabis not veggies
How do you know it CONSUMES the water. Do u weight the pot by lifting it, or ask it if it's hungry?

One get it out of that pot get either cloth or a decent plastic pot. Get good soil. What soil are you using now? what nutrients are you using for it? It will make it but need to make some adjustments.

What kind of potting soil? the pot just seems small is all. What sort of soil are you planning to buy?
