Planted some good mids seeds in the wild...

I bought an Oz of some fire mids a few weeks back. And I just went in the woods and planted 7 seeds. I don't plan on going back to check on them for about 2-3 months. Will they grow? I know its winter so its not the best light cycle, but will they yield anything smokable?

This is a terrible idea. Even if they do break through the soil, they will immediately go into flowering due to the small amount of daylight hours. Depending on your location, the best time to plant is mid March to early April. Any frost will kill them. Plant after last frost date specific to your area. Check the Farmer's Almanac for this info.
