Yeah whatever, you can cut em, pull em, or leave em.....your concentration should lie with the new. I think you sunburnt them. whats toast sure aint comin back
they are just tender at this stage. they like vegging under low light and no stress fo a while. Hardening off is the process of slowly getting those young tender plants hardened to yhe rigors of wind, sun, heat, etc.. YOU'RE NOT THE FIRST TO HICCUP HERE THATS FOR SURE orry for the caps
rock on, you're doin fine

Many thanks doser, I snipped off all sunburnt areas, one leaf got it bad, the rest were very minor, deff looking forward to the new growth, will keep this in the shade n under the lamp for the rest of the week, let it regain it's strength n. Make sure the transplant went alright

If you have a grow journal doser, I would like to have a look at it :D u seem to be quite knowledgable n helpful, deff would like to see how ur crop is comin along at this point, many thanks

What color were/are the "burnt" leaves/leaf tips?

Sunburn turns white, like paper.

Nute burns cause the leaves to dry out, but remain green for a day or two.

Brown leaves are caused by many things. Rubbing against a heat source, or contact with something toxic, among others.

The plant looks reasonably healthy, but extremely(?) damp soil is worrisome.

A solution of one tablespoon of Rootone powder/gallon will help prevent root rot, but if your current soil is just forest goo, transplanting may be the best solution.

No I don't have a journal yet. deff on my to do list.
At this point I'm really happy but they say pride goeth before the fall

trying to keep it goin.

Just happens that this last week or two is just makin me squirt so that's probably why I'm so prolific with the posts.
That and I just about broke my back five days ago so I've had all day evey day to post
It's been fun but i'm getting a little stir crazy.
Anyway, I've got some LA Confidential X OG Kush should be bomb
Cloning those so looks like this is what I'm growin for a while
I chose carefully so I'm thinkin pretty bomb smoke. Attitude seeds Fem'd they were all females so that worked out

Sucks to hear doser, hope u have a fast heal on the back, the strain ur working with sounds nice :D I had some purple widows going that I got from attitude, but the deer decided they'd make good eats, so fucked me on that end, will be buying fencing next yr lol

And I do believe it might be nute burn from the perlite? Other then what's included with that, there's been no nutes added, the transplant went smoothly, and the leaves were still green when they curled up n dried out, but I'm expecting a recovery, bit of tlc and she should be fine I'm thinking, won't be adding nutes for a while, perhaps maybe a month from now I will give her some but think she has enough for the time being

Don't know if I'm miss reading ya but Pearlite is inert so it ain't burning anything. If the planting mix is inert then you have to feed the plant cuzz there is NOTHING to feed off of (by definition) in the medium. You just need to start out with a very week ( AB??) nute solution and ramp it up very slowly.

Really, that's about it!!
that and bug control
and mold issues
noise too, don't forgrt about noise issues
oh yeah, odor control.............big problem!!
how bout FLIR.???? now there is something that will pull you out of a dream sweating profusely
yeah, pretty simple really...............you'll be fine................probably!!

if you read the label on the miracle grow pearlight it has a n-p-k value
That sucks!

A good way to ambush noobs...

A word of advice:

Always control the feeding of your plants.

You should be sure of the NPK values of everything you add to your plant's available soil.

In the ground, insurance from disasters can be had by always feeding near the drip line of the plants, away from the main root ball.

This allows the plant to grow into the nutrients, taking what they want.

yes it does, and i didnt think much of it at the time, but it may be the cause of the nute burn as the soil has none, and ive fed it none in weeks and the plant has been fine until transplanting into the planter with miracle grow's perlite, but today it seems to be doing good, gave her some sun and she didnt burn up on me, the soil seems to be drying nicely, overall im satisfied for time being, and really appreciative of the given help n tips
