bagseed is great. Say you got a bag of mids or even a bag of schwag that got you really really ripped. Odds are those plants started with some good genetics but the grower was looking to just pop them out or he wasnt a very good grower. You can take those seeds and grow them how you wish that smoke would have been, also if you get into breeding you can make your own genetics with bagseed rather easy and its alot of fun. Take bagseed #1 grow a nice healthy plant with it and it sadly turns male, well don't get rid of it just yet. Bagseed #2 grew into a nice female. Collect some pollen from bs #1 and take a clone from bs #2. Root the clone and pollenate it with bs #1's pollen. Now the seeds you will have made with be bs #1 x bs #2 which I doubt anyone would have a name for allready so you could name it yourself. Now grow a few bs1 x bs2 plants and get a male and a female from the same batch of seed. Inbreeding them, this will force the genetic line to take on the traits of both the father and the mother (which happen to be brother and sister) which will force the next batch of seeds to be f1 bs1xbs2 seeds. you could call them whatever you want it would be your breed and since its originally from bagseed I doubt anyone would have the exact same genetic line. Believe it or not the strain "blueberry" came from bagseed that dj short said to hightimes was really good shit. So he went all crazy and started making his own breed with it. He introduced a system called guppyponics which he fed fishtanks full of guppys foods that would be productive to both the mother and the father. One of the items he fed his fish were blueberrys in a attempt to turn marijuana into a smokeable fruit. He then had the genetics tested and found that the original father was from some guys f4 plant that was Oaxacan Gold x Chocolate Thai. He then had the mother tested and found that the genetic line was close to Highland Thai x Afghani. So from this bagseed of "really good shit" he ended up with a legendary strain of Oaxacan Gold x Chocolate Thai * Highland Thai x Afghani. So yeah bagseed is really worth it if you want to experiment. Most of the breeds today came from mixmatch seeds converted back to f1 through inbreeding.
