Planting Clones in a public park guerilla style? no?

i have a long time to decide but just want to get some ideas early. i've driven around my area and i have this HUGE wetland (well they call it a wetland anyways). there are so many spots I can plant it and i think the average joe wont be able to tell. hell, i even saw some marijuana look alikes..i couldnt really tell from far. maybe thats not a good thing, but in my eyes that means that the average person would probably think my marijuana plant was just another one of those look a likes (if they happen to stumble upon it).

there has been a few people who I've seen walk through the forest, but never that deep..or at least i haven't watched them enough. they dont look like the type to go hunting and inspecting plants. not sure about any authorities there..haven't seen them either because they really aren't there or they're in plain uniform (which i highly doubt).

there's also a river, should I plant one on the hills beside the river? its pretty much a hard to access area.

you guys think it's a good idea or no?

probally a bad idea, but fuck it go for it. if they catch you at harvest say you were just gonna call em you found this marijuana plant so you pulled it and gathered all the gardening stuff together so you could turn it in to them.

i think you get fucked doubly if you get caught doing anythig illegal in a public park or in a school zone. i wouldnt grow here, but if you think you can get away with it...

a wetland isnt exactly a public park, more of a reserve. If it's anything like the wetlands near my house there's bike trails and lots of people. I've also considered planting outside, the hard part is watering them daily without being seen.

ive watered myplants maybe1times in 3 yrs and dont do anythingtil dark all it takesis 1nosey neighbor

its alot harder to explain why you are in the middle of a farmers field than in a public park.....they keep busting em around here.usually not the grower themselves however unless its almost harvest and they find a decent amount of plants (10+). i havent heard of any big ones yet this year.....last year they got 55 out of 1 cornfield alone.

well im going to have a walk around of this reserve and see how far it takes me and find a good location. if i do plant it, im just going to walk by it as if im just walking around. the only way i think i'd get caught is if some cops were sitting in a remote location watching the plant waiting for someone to stop by it and maintain it. that would be a risk i'd have to take if i'm doing it

do dnr frequent the place? u said its a reserve. is hunting allowed?

I planted a hermie I had 2 weeks ago as an experiment. It's part of a forest that got chopped down and has these lil pine trees growing now. It's pretty dry and sandy.

I found a spot that is a bit lower than the rest of that valley, planted.

Went there couple days ago and holycrap has the plant got huge! Also looked very healthy.

I peed on it to keep the animals away and went back. Might plant some girls there to spread the seeds, lol.

no not really it's mostly a wildlife reserve...im going to plant a clone to test...i still have almost a year to decide since it's too late to do any planting right now

Just plant near a natural spring. I'm lucky there's lot of them around here.

I was thinking about being johnny potseed! We should all plant 10 clones out in the wild and have thousands growing around the country all taking place @ the same time!! Would be a huge inniative! Lol

I wouldn't but if you do, when you visit the plants have lots of tree hugger stuff with you. Get a book on birds, take some binoculars, maybe a camera and shoot pics of birds not buds. Good luck.

I have been really debating doing this my self. Out here there are miles of lava fields that are very hard to access. I wanted to just throw a few 10 gallon pots out there. My biggest problem is how the hell i would be able to water them. Everything is out in the open and a guy with a big water jug will most def stick out.

You know the area better than any of us. Where I live we have state parks, state forests, and state game lands. State parks usually have some kind of lake or recreation area and people can camp there. State forests are large tracts of land owned by the state, but is open to the public for hiking, biking, or boating, but hunting and overnight camping aren't allowed. State game lands are like state forests, but they are open for hunting. I was thinking about planting next year in a local state forest since there isn't as much activity as the parks and there aren't any hunters roaming around. Although where I live hunting season doesn't open until late October, so I'd be finished by then.

Too many unknown variables for any of us to give you a definitive answer. You have to consider how big of a piece of land it is, how remote, and how active it is. If you can find a nice natural clearing well off the beaten path where you don't think people will really be wandering, then go for it. Keep in mind, if you decide to start digging hole or taking down trees, they will probably add additional charges for damaging the land if you were caught. Personally, I think you can get away with it if you are smart and plan well ahead of time. If you plan on growing 20 plants, for example, just don't put them all in one place. Find 3 or 4 locations and spread them out. That way 1) they are less noticeable, and 2) if someone would find one of the patches it wouldn't be a complete loss.

Guerrilla growing doesn't come without risk man.

BTW unless you are growing like a crazy amount of plants, I doubt law enforcement is going to take the time to stake the garden out for days or even weeks waiting for you. It just costs too much money and really isn't worth it, at least where I live. They are probably under budget and under staffed to begin with.
