probably seems like a dumb question but im planning my first grow and have not found any information on if this can be done.
so my question is can you plant clones into soil?
and if so whats a successful method?
thanks to anyone who responds in advance
there is a way to do it, but i wouldn't do it. it's a lot easier to start them in peat plugs so you can make sure they are going to root (you can see the roots coming out of the plugs). then transplant into solo cups so you can build the root system up on them. actually, i think jiffy makes a seedling starting kit that would have everything you need (except the light and rooting gel)
hmm interesting. do you just plant your rooted clones along with the peat plug into the solo cups with soil??
yep..like i said the roots grow and pop out of the plug
His clones are already rooted. Those plugs are for unrooted clones.![]()
what sort of light cycle should i be running once i first put my clones into peat plugs?
i'm confused..are you starting clones?..or do you already have rooted ones and trying to transplant?....and the light cycle question is 24 hours until you know they are stable and will live, then go 18/6 to encourage it to grow roots
you don't need much time to flower clones. Just good roots. you take a clone from a adult mom. That clone is also a adult. I like to veg a month or so.thanks stumps. iv also heard that you only veg. clones for a short period of time. is this true?
and if so does that mean my clones will remain pretty small/short? or no
