planting germinated seeds

Is it best to plant germinated seeds in a smaller pot before transplanting to a larger pot? Or can I plant the seeds directly into the larger pot which they will grow in for all stages?

I personnaly grow into the pot their gonna die in. I dont like the thought of the roots not spreading out, as they would like. Imo

the small containers work well if you have lots of starts, to maximize use of light, but either way works

Really either way will work, but the more root area your plant has to grow in, the bigger the plant.
