plants and humidity

do some plants produce more humidity then others.????

i am struggling to understand why my room is starting to get so humid

what i am finding strange is i use to grow 4 plants in dwc in a 3x3 tent and i never had a humidity problem

now i do a much smaller grow. only one plant in dwc 2.5x1.6 ish space i am getting high humidity in the 60s to 65%. my plant has just gone 5 weeks from flip and it only started making the room humid 4 days ago

i have grown many plants but i have not grown many different strains before

this grow i ordered seeds online and this strain is a shit tone better then the crap i was growing in the past so this makes me want to know am i getting humidity problems in flower now because some plants produce more humidity then others

I wouldn't think different strains would produce different humidity levels. I would guess it's something else. Maybe air exchange? My first grow I had to run a dehumidifier to keep my Rh below 40 in flower. I added an extra 6 in exhaust venting out though my attic, instead of it all just getting vented back into the outer room, and now I will probably never need the dehumidifier again. My Rh now is usually between 10-20. I am in CO and its dry, but the humidity outside now is 92%, and my room Rh is 21-24. I'm still shocked at the difference it made, and still haven't fully figured it out. Strange it just started happening. I hope you figure it out.

i vent in to the outer room my grow cupboards are in but i still did the same when i use a tent. with no problem
if anything i increased air movement because i down sized the growing space but used the same fan/filters as the bigger space
where i live my air humidity is always 50 ish %. would a dehumidifier be able to get my humidity below ambient air

I think it might be because it's a smaller space with less room for the plants to evaporate, so the Rh build up more, if that makes any sense, but that's just a guess.
And yes a dehumidifier can get you Rh where you want it if you get a big enough one. I bought a big one and it works awesome when I needed it, but I spent a couple hundred on it.

It's the time of year, not the plant. Need a dehumidifier to grow in spring/summer.

im thinking the weather isnt helping. its winter for us but its been a hot winter so far

Ah, southern hemisphere. In winter I am usually fighting to raise humidity. I had to dust off my dehumidifier and fire it up for the first time this year about a week ago. It'll run pretty much nonstop till October.
