Hey guys. I've been here before. Had some real good plants but I've been gone for a few years. And just got back into it. I have a few plants that are about a month old and starting to suffer. Any help would be good.

They have been in these pots and soil from day one and have only been given water. No fet yet, just water.

Those planters have large drainage holes in them?, if not they need to be there so get your drill out. Those plants are receiving way too much water. Also I think that miracle gro doesn't have much fertilizer in it is that right? Stop spraying the leaves if you are doing that if you need more humidity then add a humidifier. If you don't remember this too well you will be letting the planter dry out so much it will make your butt hole pucker. Then it's time to water again. MJ likes a dry period for growth and also it fights root rot, gnats, mold...

If the holes are there they are probably big enough the cause is likely watering too often. It is very important the plants dry out and for the record that isn't droopy your plants are in "shed water" mode. You see this on plants outdoors in heavy rain storms.

i just checked and the holes are fairly large and have the roots coming out but the soil at the bottom is not wet, i have never had the water run out of the soil from the bottom. Should i drill more holes to make for better drainage? How often should something like this be watered i poked larger holes in the containers and mixed up the soil. I hope they bounce back :(

Can an I put them in larger pots with a mix of soil. How do I change the soil with the plants in them? I don't want to see these things die ffs. They just keep getting worse. How long should I not water them for? And how long before they "bounce back" if they even do.

I think it is actually under watering as in "not enough water when you water" by your description but also they need food. You shouldn't swing your pH around between using just water and when feeding though so hopefully you have a pH meter, if not that's a shame because we don't have time right now. You need quality soil nutrients at this point and I will recommend Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow for Soil along with Botanicare Cal Mag Plus. Hopefully you have a local hydro shop you can go buy that now if you don't have a soil nutrient already. You shouldn't swing pH around so if you can set your pH as close to the pH of your water but remain between 6.0 and 7.0 pH. So for example if pH of your water is 7.3 then set your nutrient solution to 7.0. Then you need to water slowly until water is dripping from the bottom. You do this by wetting the entire soil on the top of the planter until there is 1/4th inch of water or so there then wait until it soaks in, wait a little longer at first, then do it again. It will take a lot of times to get water to drip if you are doing this correctly and if your soil is being watered correctly. Then you wait until the pot is extremely light and do it again. When your planter is completely light / almost bone dry you still have a day before it will even droop. That's when I water when I can feel almost no water left but it isn't completely dry obviously.

More on pH
We need the pH more acidic actually 6.5 pH is what most nutrients I've used is buffered at. But abrupt pH changes cause noticeable stress "wrinklied and twisted leaves, odd growth problems". We therefore try to move pH slowly a tenth at a time. 7.0 with nutrients, 6.9 just water and pH down, 6.8 with nutrients again.

Organic vs Chemical
You have a choice to go organic still even if you use chemicals now you can flush them out really well later. I don't know how to get your plants corrected using organic stuff though. If they weren't in such bad shape I could do it but I'm just not organic savvy enough to trust it. That miracle gro always needed to be flushed for organics so it isn't as if by using these nutrients we are ruining your organics because you have none.

P.S. Check for spider mites I've had bad luck with miracle gro, not using it to grow with for that it is great. House plants and stuff not pot :)

Reduce watering, when you do water feed at 1/2 strength. Also get some air exchange in there and some fans, looks like a storeroom clean it up a bit mate there shit all over the floor beerboxes etc.

Water when they are dry. Droopy is one day too late. If your Temps really consistent the pots will dry out consistant. My one gallon pots take 5 days to dry out completely till the drops happen so I water about every 4 days. The bigger the pot the longer between watering. to change soil and save those babies you can soak the root ball in ph water and wash most dirt away and transplant into new soil. It will shock them tho. But I've done it. And they are still growing.

They look good. I would clip those bottom leaves. You don't want anything actually touching the soil. It would just help bugs infest. Also I would FIM or top them.

Yeah they will get better and better if you keep letting them dry out until just a tini tiny bit of water is left then water until they drip with quality nutes. Also you really should address the mess I know you're thinking these things grow outside but it's mold, mildew, fungi and what not that we have no actual sun to sterilize indoors.

Make sure you water till you get run off otherwise them bottom roots are not getting anything, let them dry out before drooping occurs, come to tranplsted again let soil dry out and there slip straight out, just try not to damage the roots, I've just tranplsted from 6l pots to 11l pots during early flowering, scary doing it from 5l pots but succeeded and growing great

When you say a dry period, I usually wait for the first 2-3 inches to be bone-daddy dry but if i kept digging I would feel moisture, is that ok? Or should I let the pot dry out even more? I've just been waiting for it to feel really dry on top and the pot to feel light weight again and I water.

Let the pot get dry ...u said u got drain holes right?u don't want to drown the roots if u don't let the bottom flow out and dry out u will have all sorts of problems ..what type of light are u using
