Here are pictures. Please help me figure out why they're turning this color. Also, I cant tell if these are male or female... i looked on line but im a beginner so I cant figure it out.

Soil: Miracle Grow Water Control
Light: CFLs from walmart

any help would be appreciated! :-?

my best guess is that they dont have enough soil and its time to move them into bigger containers, please let me know soon i dont want my babies to die... unless they're male  i also dont want to waste the soil on male plants

Doubt they are expressing sex this early on. No way to tell from your pics, & you will have a hard time submitting them as they need to be real close-up macros of rather specific points on the plant. You can try though... zoom to the points that the leaves meet the main stalk, right where the new side shoot is sprouting from. To either side of the new shoot are the preflowers, if there at this point. The plants are showing some signs of deficiencies, but quite frankly, the only time I get the cabbage-like growth of the leaves is when there is a soil and/or pH problem... the nutes may be there, but unavailable. With your seedlings, there appears to be an issue with overwatering, though this is a slight guess on my part. I'm thinking that the MG mix is too acidic to start, perhaps too soggy, & the plants aren't able to deal with it, especially this young. You can look up MG mixes & see what others have said, but recommend you get out of that stuff & go with a hydro-specific soilless medium. Best. Also, the medium is one of the cheapest items you will use (per plant that is). So, if it is a problem, you shouldn't hesitate to just throw it out.

i would love to do hydro, but im to dumb to learn how to do it, i've tried reading it up, the only way i'd be able to hydro is if i had it all built for me already... im growing out of a stealth pc case right now that i built my self, literally put it together with glue ductape and a few pieces of cardboard
