plants growing slow

This is my first grow. the ones in cubes are about a month and a half in. some are only 2 inches.
the ones in pots i just added last week. just worried about the older ones. they seem to be doing pretty bad. there under 1 thowie right now.
pretty good air circulation
temps about 75
ph =5.8
ppm 700
humidities 50
watering as needed trying not to soak but give enough

dont know whats wrong.

can anyone give some suggestions?

Probably overwatering. I think the roots don't develop properly when they are always wet. I have had a lot of success when I let the soil dry out and then water. But that's soil...

What about lighting? and what's a throwie?

yeah ive been reading lots of threads on watering so i have been letting them get sort of dried out before watering again. by thowie i mean they are under 1 thousand watt light. thanks for the postings!
