plants growing stretched and lanky

my plants are in full sun and have become quite stretched and continue to do so each day. is their anyway i can stop the stretching?

where are you trying to grow? you say full sun?

Could be sativas which grow tall and lanky

i got the grow just in the middle of an open river area its just grass n prickly shit all around it. i;m thinking the could be sativas is a good thought. it is just bags seeds so i'm not sure what i'm growing here

Yes could be sats, but just cause its in the sun isnt always enough, how does the sun beam on them (meaning @ a angle, str8 dwn) how long is it in full sun, if its in a valley or sumthin maybe not in the light intensity enough
i HAD A SIM PROB , Mine @ 1 time streatched and buded earlier than expected ( thus afecting yeild) when I changed my site ... No probs

How old is the plant?

their 4 weeks old. had some slow growth for a bit cuz they got beat up by a frost. 3 are going well and not stretched 6 of them are stretched though. the ones that stretched the most i have started lst'n them. just trying a few different things out. i had 4 others that were seedlings but i came home to find them under a puddle. its pissed rain for the last 2 days here. not to impressed about that. their just in a temporary location till i can get the time to get them in the ground.

I think if it's outdoors it has to be genetic. Maybe your shorter ones are hybrids?
