everytime i put a fan on my plants they droop and when i take it back off they are fine. i thought it would be the other way around. has anybody had this happen?
i actually think that what happend. im using coco(i think) and had a mini emergency when i came in and they were doubled over. i watered em and they came right back up. i water them. everyday. and its a 2ft x 2ft 3 speed fan from lowes. o-well now its on me because that 400hps is hot as hellWhen you put a fan on your plants it ill dry the soil out quicker, maybe they were just thirsty..

sittinherebored - I would recommend you follow weedyoo's solution. It sounds fool-proof and very well thought out.hahha really hahah
no you don't need a fan on them at any point,do you need a fan when they are 4 days old
thats why i was doing it because my last grow was skinny. these are 12in with 1cm stemsno you don't need a fan on them at any point,
having it on them improves stem strength and you can do this from day 1, you don't have to but its a lot better if you do,
consider the fan a set of weights for the plant, the fan actually creates minor damage to the plant, the stem cells grow back stronger, much like our musscles do when we hit the gym
