Plants in veg looking squat?

My GHS exodus cheese are about 3 weeks into veg in dwc. They were all germed using the paper towel method at the same time. Looking for some advice on a few concerns.

Firstly my RH is only up to 40%-50% even with hanging wet towels, how will this affect growth?

I have one plant that seems to be growing differently to the others and staying shorter, this plant also has like a greyness in amongst the roots(see pics).

Also i know for most stretch is an issue but my plants seem squat , is this growth normal for veg in dwc?

1.2m grow tent
600w mh in cool tube approx 20 inches away
day temp 24-28 C
night temp 20 C
rh 40-50%
ph 5.8
ec 1.3 (just A+B)

thanks for looking at post any advice appreciated :)

Maybe its all paranoia and im looking for something that aint there and their fine lol?

They will stretch when you hit them with HPS. Or raise that light up about 8" at least and they will reach for it. They look good. Don't get anxious.

Thanks , I've raised the light a little as there's plenty of new growth but the plants are still really er.... flat , the bottom set of leaves now resting on the towels wrapped around the buckets. I'll post a pic shortly.☺thx again.

Ok so their now under the 600w hps. Latest Pics below. They seem to be stretching out a bit now but the lower larger fan leaves are drooping around the dwc buckets. The smaller plant seems to have picked up a bit but looks a bit pale ? Checked the res temp yesterday and noticed at lights on it was 24c and 20c at lights out. So that's my priority atthe min to get the temps down. Tent temps are good. Gonna try covering the buckets in aluminium tape see if that brings them down. Any other ideas welcome ☺ Should I be looking at using an h2o2 type product ? The roots still look healthy but the res temps must have been like this for the past 4 weeks. Do you think the smaller plant that looks paler than the rest needs a bit more feed or could It be the res temps. Tia for any input ☺

What do your roots look like? Covering them will only insulate them. Keeping the solution out of the res longer will help keep temps down. On cars with no oil cooler you can simply loop long rubber lines for the return oil to go through. The longer it stays out of the tank the cooler it will be.

ok so ive been monitoring the day time temps creeps up slowly throughout the day to about 24.5c then drops to 21c lights out. Ive been looking at dutch master root zone as it says it works within these ranges to protect against pyth , has anyone had any experience with this at these temps? Or know of a similar product as all my local hydros dont seem to be able to obtain it?
added pics took today of 3 out of the 4. Theres no slime or anything attached to the roots that i noticed and they seem nice and bright , i think the shadowing in the pics makes them look darker than they are. At the moment going in my ec is up to 1.6, ph is at 5.9 , still running veg nutes, 1st week of 12/12 , no sign of sex yet , started adding go 12/12 head start since day 1 of 12/12. As always tia for any input :)

They look great. Stop worrying or you will hurt them. And maybe add a root enzyme.

ive been adding cannazym into the mix recently (forgot to mention that and silicon at full strength.) So should i still be looking at adding the dutch master? just dont want to run into probs down the road with the res temps as they are? Or should i not try to fix something that aint broke lol ? Ive read in these temp ranges pythium is more likely but then ive read conflicts of that saying they have had res temps as high as 80f?? thanks for replying :)

Ok so my plants are now 9 days from flip so been checking to identify sex but am not seeing anything ? I have grown this strain before in a different setup and they showed in under a week . Do u think I could have a possible light leak ? I took some pics yesterday under the hps and am a bit sceptical of the 1 plant it is growing differently to the others and after looking at the pic taken yesterday and comparing it with pics online and not sure if it has male preflowers? I would take a fresh pic out in natural light but the lights went out a few hours ago ☺
