I think I have that same issue and probably due to my tower fan blowing too much air around. I noticed wind burn on the leaves closest to it.. so to counter that.. I turned the fan around so it hits the wall first then spreads thru the tent. It's a 2x4 so it keeps a nice breeze in there. Also what is your tents RH? If the humidity is too low the leaves will dry out because your air is to dry
I PH to 6.3-6.5 , I water whenever they dry out, so abouts every 3 days or so, and i alternate the feeding with that so 3 days then I water, 3 days then feed and medium is ffof with about 30% cocoI dont see this as an overall heat issue... my tent stays between 82-86F with absolutely zero issue. What is the pH of your water? How often are you watering/feeding? It looks like your medium is soil?
Wow I didn't know that, I was gonna respond to you soon but I'm at work to explain that I didn't know what ppm is and all that stuff I'm very new so I still have much to learn, so I won't hurt them by feeding them every watering? I always see people saying not to over do it so I was trying to be cautious but if thats whats hurting me ill definitely amend thatThere is your problem. Stop alternating. Feed them the whole grow through. See my above post....feed the the correct strengths. Not feeding them every other watering is where you are going wrong.
I'm using the fox farms basic 3 was using grow big till flower started now im just using tiger bloom and big bloom as well as calmag, should i be introducing anything else or is that good?Parts per Million =ppm. You need a electronic meter to really know what your ppm is. It's very useful to have but you can get by without one as well. What brand nutrients are you using?
If i felt inclined would I be able to switch the nutrients im feeding them or would that cause something bad to happenI have never used those so I can't speak to them, but obviously people have good results with them. If you end up adding a lot of stuff in you should invest in a ppm pen, you can pick them up for under a hundred and they last years. As long as you have good food at the right pH you will be successful.
Heard lots of great things about GH, im gonna have yo give them a try then, thanks for the help manYou should be fine switching. If you want what I consider the easiest to use I would recommend GH 3 part using what is known as Lucas Formula. They come in green/purple/pink bottles called veg/micro/bloom but using the Lucas Formula you only use the purple and pink bottles at 5ml purple 10ml pink per gallon in veg and 8/16 in bloom. You would of course still need to pH it to 6.3 for pro-mix medium and I would recommend floraricious for flavor enhancement, maybe a little silica but that is optional. Anyway, you won't see many if any people using the Lucas formula asking questions about what's wrong with their plants because it just works. Mind you I am not saying that what you have doesn't, I think the problem is you weren't feeding them enough. But I've been using GH Nutrients for 20 years because they just work.
