Maybe asking for info would help imstwad ig critizing.
Yes i been a member since 2008. But been out the game for some time now. And just getting back to it.

But anyways enough of that and lets get bavk to yhe topic

Resivor is a 1 gallon plastic shoe container, tap water is used. Ph is around 6.2 ( cant give exact level, no diggy ph reader), nutrients used is jacks classic. 1/4 tsp to 1 gal. Cabinets temps range from 70 - 80. Idk the water temps.. if there is anything else let me know.

my advice throw out that system or get ph pen and thermometer in res those are crucial to hydro growing. ph changes when nutes are added my advice would be to throw that out sterilize your area and grow in soil

you really ought to look into hempy buckets. very low maintenance compared to dwc, and while growth isn't quite as fast as dwc, it's way the hell faster than soil. add a little hydrogen peroxide to your water and never worry about root rot.
i run 10 gallon totes and get 5 to 7 oz dry out of each one, in a 4 x 7 area with a 600 and a 400 watt hps, set up as a perpetual. so close to a pound a month, with low effort....

hempy or dwc, you still need ph and ec. There are cheaper ph meters that seem to work if you are lucky. Keep the sucker submerged in nute solution or storage solution and never ever let it dry and they normally live a while. My bluelab was in the 100$ range, 3years ago, still works like new. There are reports of people using 15$ knockoffs successfully but I had too much bad luck with anything less than bluelab.

the cheap ph pens work ok, but you have to get a bottle of test solution and check them about once a month or they'll drift off.
i rinse mine off under tap water, rinse out the cap, and put it on wet. since i use mine at least twice a week, thats good enough, if you only use yours once a week or less, i'd fill the cap half full of water and store it vertically in a corner, or a jar, something to keep it upright.
