Plants not looking healthy

I do need a new setup tbh. Ive been looking at some diy ones made from cabinets and such.
With today's market and deals, I think that buying a tent and the right setup is the cheapest way. Just look up good deals and read reports and buy the right stuff from the start IMO

They look like they have a horrible nitrogen deficiency. Also the coloring on the top believe shows me that the light is either too close or too intense for their size. It may not necessarily be that you're not giving them enough nitrogen you may have a pH locked out

My buddy just bought a 4x8 tent for 70 bucks, is working super good!

hempy or dwc, you still need ph and ec. There are cheaper ph meters that seem to work if you are lucky. Keep the sucker submerged in nute solution or storage solution and never ever let it dry and they normally live a while. My bluelab was in the 100$ range, 3years ago, still works like new. There are reports of people using 15$ knockoffs successfully but I had too much bad luck with anything less than bluelab.
My ph meter was 25 on amazon from visosun. Works perfectly.

no one has asked the OP to provide more info. you can't just put up a couple pics and the question "what's wrong?" and get a decent answer. more info is needed.
one mistake was to put that many plants into such a small space. another mistake was using such a small fan. that homemade box isn't good, not to mention the dirtiness. unpleasant to look at and bad to grow in as plants will get bigger (provided you do it right). The OP could do this: use Dynagrow fert, one teaspoon per gallon in hydro, and see what happens. This is when you don't want to buy a ppm gizmo. Maybe the best thing would be to just switch to soil as there is a smaller margin of error, but soil always takes longer.

So you say no 1 has asked op for more info, then you dont ask him either? why not?

Oh yea on the first page more info was requested
is it truly yours if its on a public forum??

if you want real help then post more info what have your temps been like? whats the ph in that filthy res? what nutrients are you using? what are the temps in the res not just the cabinet?
youve been a member since 2008 and still cant grow a plant or know that noone can help you if you dont post the info requested above.

I wrote this: "more info is needed."
I think what I originally meant was, it's interesting that the thread went on without the info needed being posted to actually provide any help. I just put it the wrong way. my bad.
