Plants probably too far gone to save - is pruning and back to veg stage an option?

Bio buzz is a good soil. In my opinion Ph perfect best for hydroponic set ups and inert mediums. Did you start feeding early on? Bio bizz has alot of nutes pre loaded into the soil. I don't feed in bio bizz till a few weeks into flower. Works pretty well. Also I always use half recommendation to what bottle says. Bottles tend to go bit crazy. Seems strange like you say seems like so many problems.

I would say if going bio bizz soil. Get bio grow and bio bloom. Nice and easy and it's all organic. If decide to go CoCo keep the AN and feed every watering. Or do both? CoCo only £10/11 a bag. Do a try with both same time see what get on with?

I hear autos don't yield much because there isn't no veg time.

not sure though I never did autos

I have done autos. They can come out ok but nothing compared to just straight fem's or regs. Also autos stay on 20/4 all the time and can take as long as normal seeds so use a lot more electric over the course of whole grow. Just a thought.

Well, given us poor sods in the UK are subject to legal, corporate robbery by the energy co's, 24/7 doesnt seem like a good idea.

Welcome any advice on reliable seed strains that are condidered ok for beginners. Im ok with germination procedures etc., as ironically, I am considered a good gardener & never had anything like these problems growing veg and your more pretty flowers etc

Ok your right they are crap and the reason why is the ph being wrong thru veg stage in turn going into flowering sick, yellow with issues. Now they are very K def because of the fucked up PH. Plants need a lot of K to produce buds. Also the heat and intensity of the lights isn't helping. For now flush with about 8 PH water to bring it up then 6.5ph every water and feed after that, drop back to one 400w(doesn't cost much to run) only water when pots are lighter to lift. Next grow make sure the PH is 6.5 all the way thru and when you start flowering make sure the plants are green ,healthy and the temps are below 26. One more thing be aware that plants def in K are susceptible to disease.

Ta for advice Buds - for better or worse I am persevering with the least 'f***ed up' ones for a while longer & they are showing definite improvement and growth since I stopped using Advanced Nutrients & I sure as hell wont waste money on it again. As for Advanced Nutes technical help dept , what a joke they are. I emailed them with a description of set up and feeding schedule etc. and the reply back scored a zero in usefulness, they hadnt even read my e-mail properly as asked for info I had already provided - like soil or coco? Doh! I already told you that. Then they asked me to send photo's , so I did - bounced back as too many photo's attached, so I cut down the 8 jpegs to just 4 - bounced back again. At which point I gave up with the useless twats.

My experience of Advanced Nutrients is lots of hype, but when you dig in to their website for useful info there is very little of substance & even less when you contact them - despite all their promises.

I hate it when people ask for help in posts then dont bother to follow up and say if the advice worked or not - so here is a quick update. Following flush, partial re-potting and change to Bio-Bloom , two of the six plants failed to respond at all and I ditched them. Of the remaining four two are doing 'moderately well' and two are doing really well - so long as no last minute disasters , I should at least produce enough to cover costs.

Final update - harvest was much better than I expected ....... eventually! And a couple of the plants yielded some real stoner buds. No thanks to Advanced Nutes . I know AN has many fans but what really pissed me off the most was their really useless customer service - no help from them whatsoever, despite all grand (empty) promises.
