Plants stem brown and very weak?

Hi guys my friend has got 6 plants about 3 weeks old, the other day he took them outside (where he will be growing them) and it has been perfect sunny weather and not too windy but one of the plants has lost all of it top leaves (just the two round ones are left) is it possible it will survive? And 2 of the other plants stems look like frail twigs but only at one point very near the bottom (pretty much in the soil) which has made the plants bend right over and looks like it could just snap at any moment... we covered them up with more soil making them straight again but i don't know if this will help... any ideas what could be happening?? Thanks!

You need to provide pics. Sounds like bugs got your leaves and being brought outside without a transitioning period burnt the plant.

I will try to get photos asap.. anything i can do if they have been burnt? Also I haven't noticed any bug or iscets on them.. just ants but not on the plant. The leaves on a few of them are drooping and yellowish at tip
