Plants suffering from mites? Avid/forbid dunk or neem spray?

Im praying this helps, i mean i really doubt it will, ive bought 300 +$ alone on pesticide [a years worth] and nothing has done the trick [avid/forbid/go gnats/azamax/neem/yellow stickies/diamactus earth/asprin]
I hope they gwt to 18 inch soon as im just wanting to get these girls through the process asap at this point.

Im area spraying with heavy avid/bleach, de top soil treatment after feed, foliaring neem,dunking with avid and forbid once a week, etc, i hope to get this handeled....

You don' need to use avid ,forbid or any of those to kill russet mites or broad mites. If anyone is suggesting that you do then you should just toss everything and start over. Get you a bag of pfr 97. Mix 4 grams per gallon of water with some yucca. Spray all plants from top to bottom, even the top of the soil. It would be best if you could cut as much of the foliage from the plant as possible before you use the pfr97
This would insure better coverage of a smaller plant rather than a big one. Turn off all fans and lights. Allow humidity to raise to 50% at the leafs surface for 8 hours. Spores will become active and kill everything that it comes in contact with. Repeat this every 3 days. And be sure to wipe down walls, floors and equipment with bleach and water.

This is the affect of pfr97 on a spider. Dead. When aNY soil dwelling pest or pest on the plant comes in contact with the spores they die. No worries about pest developing a resistance to the pfr97

I don't know how big your plants are but if there under 12 inches I let my pot dry out completely and dunk the plants in 50 50 99% iso to water mix shake them around and re dunk in clean ph'd water then fan dry it works for me then I use the same mix in a spray bottle and spray the bottom of the leaves for the next few days don't forget to spray Thoroughly with water after if you use the alcohol spray bottle

Forbid 4f is expensive and used ONLY on vegative plants. Haven’t seen a mite in 10yrs unless I get cuts from others

Can this be done with clones that are 16 tall in 5 gall polly bags?

Thank your for that! Ill look at getting some yucca soon. Appreciate it greatly!

Done this but with EVERCLEAR... Grain alcohol. Works like a charm , kills the little fuckers on contact .

Wettable sulfur. cheap as fuck and very effective. Couple tbsp per gallon and coat the entire plant. Don't need all that expensive poison like forbid.

I’ve had my meds tested. I have no pesticides. It’s only a poison if in the wrong hands and misused. A good reason why they don’t sell it in the local grow store.

O would say yea but it works better if the dirt is dry because it chunks together and doesn't just fall out the only thing stopping you is finding a tub they'll fit in

Yup. Dr. Who who posts on the forums did the chemical on Forbid 4F and it is basically an acid. Does it kill thrips too?

No, don’t use it in flower. You should be able to find it at most garden/farm supply stores or amazon. Extremely effective in veg.
Just make sure you don’t use it right after you use neem or it will fuck up your plants.

You gotta go at it in a multi-prong attack strategy. These fuckers are tough and its unlikely that one approach is gonna knock them back.

Here's what i've used with success, in order of desperation IMO:

1. SM90 in res is a decent preventative and also wetting agent for root zone; will spike pH so bear in mind
2. Anything with spinosad is a reliable and organic treatment you should be using weekly
3. Bug Annihilator is a blend of essential oils and mites hate this! Can be used in bloom
4. Mites & Mildew Washout is similar, with added neem; also can be used in bloom
5. All else fails and infestation is out of control, bomb the room with Beethoven TR single action aerosol... and if persistent after that you can move to stage 2 aerosol Pylon... warning: both are toxic so proceed with caution when using in bloom, and DO NOT enter your grow for 24hrs if you can help it

Be prepared to spend some cash on products if you want 100% success against the Borg.
