Plants too big

Hi guys, long time no post . I made the mistake of veging my plants too long, and now in the second week of flowering they are BIG. And i dont want them to grow any taller. I am supercropping them so they are spread out nicely. A friend of mine had the same problem once and put a chemical in his resevior that made them stop growing and just stay at the height they were, so for the rest of his grow cycle the only thing that grew were the buds. Does anybody know what this chamical is called, or what other procedures could be done to get the same result?
The plants im growing are 3x White Rhino, 1x Durbin poison

ive never heard of this said chemical.....in fact i would believe that you should have cut back on the plant before you started to flower it.

any possible way you can lst the plant back (bend it over slightly with some string and tie it in that fashion with some dental floss?)

im going to have to do something like that unless my mate answers his email. It was some chemical he added that stopped growth. all i know is that it wasnt cheap

just saw it in the shop the other day. cannot for the life of me remember what it's called. i would just do a little LST .. i had two tight plants that i essentially turned into a SOG with about ten minutes of hooks and twisties.

never heard of a stop grow chem.. if i did i would NEVER use it.. ecspecially it flowering stage that would do nothing but harm your upcome crop... tie dow cut tips or lower lights all of these will slow the growth of the plant....

lights closer to your plants should make them grow better unless your dealing with heat issues.....heat is a #1 show stopper for big yields. #2 is air movement....

TIE THAT BEETCH DOWN MAN. trimming will badly fuck with a plant if its already in flowering......

moving the light farther will make your plant stretch tawords light the closer it it the shorter and bushier it will get... and yes cutting is deffintetly the harder on the plant but it all depends on #1 if you have room to tie down #2 if you have alot of plant that ALOT of branches to tie and #3 there will be random strings to catch a hand or foot on when messin with plants you break the whole brach off that would be alot worst... Its up to the situatuon your in..

i use dental floss tied to the container that the plant is in to lst.....different methods could be more difficult i suppose.
i find that i often have to find something to hold buds up after ive lst'd plants though:neutral:

i have heard of a product called bushmaster that is supposed to stop all vertical growth and put all the energy towards sidebranching/budding. expensive shit though.
