What are you thinking? Cal/mag deficiency? I’ll give it a shot...nothing to lose. Good thing is it doesn’t seem to be affecting any new bud sites or other plants. Fingers crossed.

Bringing this one back up to hear results from this issue. Other than a few of the smaller buds wilting a bit, I suffered no negative affects from the purpling/odd growth. I did cut a lot of the affected bud sites but the ones I didn’t progressed the same as the unaffected buds. Didn’t affect yield or overall plant health.

I had the same issue, I chose to not cull the effected buds and just see what happened. Buds just never developed, crinkled weird buds, minimal tricomes. I’ll cut them out if I run into the issue again.

I don't believe this is a nutrient problem . Not when a dozen people in my area all got it at the same time .

Same here. I know of half a dozen or so that had it show just before going into flower. Hard to believe there’s no documented explanation for this, considering how common it appears to be...the mystery remains.
