Other than some of the specialized reflective materials flat white paint is the best. I wouldn't worry about the bathtub. In fact why would you want anything on the bottom of it? That's a great runoff tray. You could get a roll of diamond mylar to cover the tile wall and ends. That shiny tile probably isn't all that great itself as a reflective material.

For veg id go 50% at 2 ft. But thats my light maybe 3 ft. My light rate at 1 ft so l put at 100% at 1 ft for 12x12 and raise as needed. Find flower much more forgiving at 12 hrs of light, if l tried at 18 hrs plants freak out. So half power. DLI is a bitch to consider with leds easier with hps. How high is light now?Yup. If plants are praying they can take more light. Just a trick l know of as fact. Full sun leaves are flat, not praying, dull days plants pray for sun.I know right. Light is just about 25" at the moment. 40% brightness to let them return to normal from when I over did it. Figured I'd try 50% for a couple hours tomorrow and see if they're braced for that yet. Only reason I jumped right into 18/6 instead of doing it slower over time was because I felt I was kind of late with them (have a friend doing several outside and they are significantly larger) didn't realize the 18 would be such a large jump in light! Newbie mistake. But a learning one
600w 8 bar and they do. But l keep light close. I maximize on lighting potential.

I'm thinking it's because I started mine at such weak lighting. The first week in the window sill was 60-70° days and half of them were overcast. The last two were pretty good sunlight but several days of overcast (max 6-7 hours of direct sunlight through the screen).
I see growers with lights 3 ft above canopy, and l say what a waste of light. Paid alot for light, want it to work hard for me. I want highest dli l can get.
