Platinum Cookie Comrades? Perpetual droop...

image.jpeg image.jpeg Patinum Cookes went in the ground around June 1st at about 4' tall...vegged in greenhouse longer than desired, so pretty stretched and lanky at time of transplant. Transplanted from 10g pot into 2' beds...they strengthened up pretty quickly, showing a nice healthy green and lots of new growth...but they are perpetually droopy on the upper main stalks. I thought I wasn't getting enough water into these deep beds, but pushed to the brink of overwater and still the same! They seem to be happiest in the am before the morning light turns to direct sun...worried they may have been more sensitive to root damage and are combating the sun? Planted GG #4 strain at the time/size/circumstances and they are flourishing. Any input on this strain would be much appreciated.

Where did you get the strain? It doesn't look like platinum cookies....PC is in my regular rotation and it looks nothing like that.
Whatever it is it looks under watered and nitrogen deficient.

Thanks Green Surfer! My first time with this strain, obtained from reputable source and have flowered it as indoor...maybe a different cookie strain? Indoor def flowered like cookies. What looks different about it to you? I have opened the plant quite a bit from the way it was vegged in green house (stretched and weak from being too close together) so it looks a bit funny because of that. Planning a foliar feed with pure protein, should get a good dose of N and will water in the am.

I'm not sure how many different PC there are...maybe it's a version some breeder made to get the strain in seed form......but mine has typical indica leaves with a sativa growth structure. Big fat very dark green leaves, almost blue looking, your leaves seem long and skinny especially towards the top. I got mine from Harborside in San Francisco. True PC should have a sour OG chem aroma with a terrible yield, stretchy with beautiful buds, and barely needs a trim.
Make sure you have proper calcium magnesium in addition to the nitrogen, I'd throw some worm castings in the soil to keep it fed throughout the season.
Explain protein?

Transplanted with worm castings; I have been light on the feeding but have included cal-mag. Pure protein is a powdered organic fish at 15-1-1, plants seem to love it. I'll have to do a bit more digging on the cookie source it sounds like...It will be an outdoor adventure!

Don't foliar feed... Drench her roots with food and water..she looks starved and dying of thirst.
