I like 360 better. PS3 doubles as a blu ray player.. I just hate the ps loading time fucking ANNOYING..

Well, my vote is for the 360
and heres why
For one, the PS3 doesn't have any great PS3 exclusive games, everything awesome is on both 360 and PS3.
The PS3 engine is more powerful, I'll give it that, but what it lacks is multiplayer. If your not big into multi then PS3 wouldn't be a bad choice, but Xbox Live is the best uncontestable. Not to mention the achievement points are a neat little feature that offer additional goals.
I have a few friends that own PS3 but to be honest I'm not sure if its 4 player or just 2, but I know Xbox is 4 player.
The controller is a little more thick and solid rather than the PS3 piece of plastic.
And don't forget Halo 3

I have a 60 gb ps3 and so far its been great. i'm a little worried about how well it will play gta 4 when it arrives because i've heard about freeze ups on both systems. but its never frozen on me before. peace

Some good advise there cheers .. ive always went for playstation But there does not seem to be much difference in graphics , Xbox is half the price of the ps3 were i am and i like the live fight night on xbox , And i can get cheapo copy game for the xbox
Id rather have the ps3 because it will look better with my tv ect it looks the real deal

wtf ps3 has great exclusives, 360 has 1 prosseser ps3 has 8, think about it, ps3s fan is proven quieter, blue r for ps3, FREE online and it dosnt lag like 360 users usually say and so far has reached 32 players in 1 game, 7players can use 1 ps3, some exclusives, HAZE, DMC4, MGS4, KILLZONE2 i could go on, within a few years the ps3 will improve there games graphics and other essentials to games and the 360 wont be powerful enough, and they wont fit on dvd unless they use like 10, which would be stupid, ps3 has sixaxis control (If you dunno wt tht is its the same kinda thing as the wii controler) ps3 has 0.01% failer rate, 360 is around 35% get a ps3, hope you read this before you regret getting the 360

Well DCM4 isn't PS3 exclusive, but I wish it was, that game was beyond horrible.

The PS3 online interface and connectibility is its downfall, its not very user friendly and I'm not sure who told you xboxlive is laggy but they lied. In fact, the very few instances where I mustered the courage to play PS online it sucked balls.
As far as you claiming the 360 doesn't have the power to upgrade the graphics for future games, that is false. Its true that PS3 has more processors and whatnot however 360 is up to par, and will continue to be.

im typing on ps3 so cant be assed to spell perfect, oh its dmc not dcm i never said 360 was laggy, i said most 360 users claim ps3 is, also again wt i said is true they dont have nearl as much potential due to processing power, its like a guy racing a car it wont keep up, my mistake about DMC but i agree that going to 360 is like halo to ps3... as for disks in future games im right, how many disks does oblivion use on 360 its 1 on ps3, im just curious to see if its more then one on 360 as its a big game. and i have experienced no lag or any problems with the playstation network

first of all, what do you really want to know again? oh, thats right, you aren't asking the right questions!
it doesn't matter what fancy new hardware is inside what piece of plastic. what matters is, which system has the games that you want to play? if the answer is 'both', you're probably right!
360 has had some hardware trouble ... but so has the ps3 (there's a problem because there aren't any games to play on it yet!!). that will change though. more good games are being released in the near future that will make decisions harder. (btw, if you didn't know, GTA4 has exclusive content to only the 360 - it could be trivial and not worthwhile, but hey, if you're talkin $ the 360 is less and has more GTA content than ps3)
both systems are worth buying. if you have the coin for both, get both! if you have money for only one, look at game lists for both systems and ask yourself if it's worth it to get one over the other.
don't forget this as well .... there's a big bright thing in front of you right now! it's a computer monitor!! you can use that plastic box next to it for games as well!! you already own a computer of some kind, so if it can't play games right now, pop in $300 and viola! you have yourself a PC ready to play games!! Im going down today 2 grab a xbox what i wanted to know was is the that big a difference between the two . the xbox is priced at 150 pound just and the ps3 is at over double that price for some reason
also any playstation ive ever had has went faulty on me the reason i asked he is because lots on here play xbox live , thats all i want it for to go live , and xbox seems to be as good as ps3 only half price and i can buy copy games from the market

i thought i gave a fairly informative legitimate answer ... maybe not? and i thought that "playstation 3 vs xbox 360" was an argument. not necessarily y'know ... angry. but yea, a duel, a debate, an .... argument.
maybe the vibe of an argument (or more a debate) was me projecting my own anger around the notion of fanbois and loyalists to a brand. my point is, saying one is 'better' than the other, or even saying one is 'worth' more, is silly. you will be happy with anything as long as you have games you want to play for it. there aren't enough 'differences' as you say to justify one or the other. they are virtually the same device, but use different programs. so enjoy your 360 yo!! seriously, if i had the cash, i'd choose the 360 as well. as long as you don't get the RRoD you'll love the hell out of it.

Actually the xbox 360 has 3 processors, each running @ 2.8Ghz. The PS3 has 8 processors, each running @ ~1.8Ghz. Who the fuck cares about the sound of the fan when you normally can't hear the fucker because of to much noise caused by the game. The xbox online is so much better as far as what it offers and it's online $50 a year and it's more reliable. Xbox originally had a game called Delta Force: Black Hawk Down that could fit 64 in a match. Don't talk to me about number. Haze sucks, DMC4 wasn't as good as DMC3 and wasn't exclusive to PS3, MGS4 is coming out on Xbox 360, and the first Killzone sucked balls so what makes you thing the second one is going to be better?
Although the PS3 theoretically is more powerful, it's really not right now. Sony spent billions just developing the cell processor to put in it. It's BRAND-NEW technology no one knows how to use properly therefore hindering production times and not being able to use it to it's full potential. The PS3 is fucked for right now since no one knows how to properly utilize the technology. Until the cell processor can be utilized to its fullest, Xbox 360 wins.
