No room to add one breaker? Any way to upgrade the wire to the tent to amp it up? Is it a 15 amp?
By chance is anything else on the circuit? I don't what your electrical setup is, but the math is Volts x AMPS x .80....

Naw....just been growing indoors (and out) for a very long time and its habit. Being an indoor grower (especially back in the day when there were alot less of us) you pretty much have to know a little about everything that applies to growing but other "trades" as well....especially if you want to save money. Electrician work. Plumbing. Hvac. Carpentry. Etc....its not real technical. But if your not savvy with a screw gun..hammer...saw...duct work...wiring...it can get expensive calling up quotes from people that are. The whole legality thing was WAY different back then...and trust was seldom given to strangers. You did all this growroom construction shit yourself. Had to. That dont qualify as an engineer but it certainly does a general jack of all basic trades.
I like this way of thinking! Even in today times I still think all work should be done oneself as you can't afford to trust anyone. Don't get me wrong I do in fact love that some states are either straight out legalizing it or some medial tolerance but what happens if state law changes again and it's not tolerated. They now have a data base on a lot of people who use the drug for whatever reason. I've hardly ever have signed up for any of these store cards where you swipe the card and save a dollar or three...because I fell like they use that shit to monitor me and I'm old school and realize that shit is a dangerous way of mindset. What if corn and pees are banned ..they now now I like this food. I'm kidding but you kinda have to think like this to protest your freedom in a ever changing corporatism / communist society we're becoming again. You're a engineer, you make it happen out of what you have...nuff said.
I'm not sure either. I'm wondering if peek induction time or ramp could play a very small factor. Say a electric motor takes 3 times as long to ramp up to full power on 120 vs 220. Could the time factor stretch long enough to cost a little more? Or, a ballast that fires twice as fast and reaches full optimum operational parameters faster. I think these would be small factors for the home user but on a commercial scale it might add up. It also may help save due to a little heat reduction given off by the ballasts which reduces AC a little. But, on the outside the meter reads in watts and that's what you pay for.
