My grow tent has a 400 watt hps with two normal house hold fans blwing in it

and the temp still went to 90

how can i bring it downnn some more?

air conditioning unit, better airflow/exhaust, air cooled hood, growing in an igloo... jk on that last one. have one fan just blowing on the bulb. get a squirrel cage fan...

Keep air blowing out. Get a stanley high velocity fan up top where heat builds up. As stated above get an ac unit. Good luck.

All that is happening is that the fans are cooling the air but then the air is been blown around the tent thus becomeing warm and stagnent.You need a good exaust fan one that will pull air from the grow room and push it outside the room pref into a carbon filter.If you have not got the money yet for a good one go to the local d.i.y centre and buy a couple of exstactor fans that are used for bathrooms and kitchens these work realy well.But you will have to get hold of a more powerful one at some time.

just for clarity's sake: fan don't cool air directly, they merely move away the hot air.
