As long as you tell absolutely NOBODY about what your doing?? Your good!! That's why I know I can relax and enjoy growing my plants.. even if its just only 2 or 3 at a time.. at least I know I'm safe.

Exactly. That guy got busted because he blabbed about his grow in real life. Rule number one, no matter what crime you're committing, is to keep it to yourself.

Beyond that, am I the only person who's thought about the blatant contradiction this topic presents? Posting this topic, in and of itself, draws more attention to the subject than a few random posts buried within larger topics. This is what being overly paranoid, as opposed to sensibly cautious, gets you. Maybe you just smoke too much pot?

I created this topic because of the ignorance running rampant on this sight, talking about packages that are made to deceive.
This topic might inform some people with a little common sense to not post how packages arrive.

When customs opens a package and oops a package of seeds falls out of the shirt onto the floor, like my last order (fuck you! hahaha), do you think they keep that to themselves or do you think they might tell someone relevant about the method? All paranoia (and lack thereof) aside...what, exactly, is the point of posting how seeds were stealthily shipped to you? Other than bragging that you got some seeds (wow), I see no reason to run your mouth...let alone make a video of yourself opening the package. Who in the hell has the time for that? If I got some beans in the mail, I wouldn't go for the video camera. I'd head for the grow room.

Companies change their shipping methods to try and get around customs. It hurts them if they can't get you your seeds, plus there's just no reason to give law enforcement any extra help. They may know how a couple companies ship their seeds, but shipping methods can be changed if too many packages start getting intercepted.

no disagreement with the purpose of the thread, there is little good purpose to posting pics of seed packaging
but customs knows most of this packaging dead cold
as an example(with no details), take seed boutique standard shipping
it is not particularly stealthy, and they've been doing it that way for a LONG time
but intercepted orders are rare, i have no doubt customs could get these orders easy, they just don't seem inclined
and the current trend does not seem to be increased seed vigilance, just too much other things to deal with
they're probably getting sick to death of filing 'seed reports'

just imagine if customs attempted to open every "dvd case" and "t-shirt" package they got. not sure what these guys do for a "return address" even if they use one.. no one would get mail because too much time would be spent searching through stuff.. chances are it is safe for them to know what stealth method is being used, but why make their job even slightly more simple..
