Hello, So this is my first grow and everything was going great up until last night. my temp got a little high it hit almost 90. My plants started clawing and looking like a taco in some areas. It actually looks a lot better today than it did last night. Also one leaf is burnt I think I made the nutes a little strong this last feeding. But what do you guys think I should do. Should I flush it. The soils Still pretty saturated I just feed it day before yesterday. Here is a little info about the grow and what Im using.

Medium Is Canna Coco
Nutes I'm using are Canna A&B
PH is normally between 5.5 and 6
not sure what the ppm or ec is I don't have a tester for this
I'm using Root Pouches as my container 2-3galon and 4-gallon containers
I got the plants as clones and their supposed to be 5 Purple Kush and 1 Death star but I'm not sure which Is which
I'm using 1-600hps and my grow area is 5'x2'x10'
I'm running 18/6 right now an my normal lights on temp is normally 80-85 and light of is normally 65-70

Col,
They don't look burnt bad. Are those square ended leaves where you cut the burnt tips off? The leaves are very dark green which indicated high nutrient levels. Since you're in coco, you should be watering to 10% runoff. Tell us about your watering and feeding frequencies...that'll allow better advice.

Do yourself a huge favor and go get a TDS/EC meter of some sort TODAY. Mix up some nutrients and report back on the ppm. You gotta know your ppm to have a clue what is going wrong. That said, they don't look too bad, perhaps a bit overwatered in pics. I can't tell for sure but it looks like you have purple stems on all of them. This can be genetics or a potassium lockout/deficiency.

No I haven't cut any tips off or done any pruning to it as of yet. I normally feed them one gallon water/nutes mixed every 3-4 days depending on soil dryness. It usually makes for about 10-20% runoff each time. I keep my water in a 20 gallon plastic tub with lid and let it sit for about 24-48 hors before use to to rid of any chlorine/floride that maybe in the water. I use tap water and my water is always h 5.5-6 after I add my nutes. I dot have a tds/ec mter yet I will pick one up tomorrow as hydro stores in my area are not open on sundays. The stems themselves do have purple in them but im not sure if its lockout/deficiency, they have been that way since receiving the clones. Is there a way to test for it? Please if you have any other questions let my know I want my ladies to be strong and healthy! Thanks!!

Obviously back off on the nutes for now. When you get the EC/ppm meter you can monitor your nutes better, Also, you can test runoff ppm. If the runoff is higher then what you put in, that means that your coco has lots of accumulated nutrients/salts which can not only burn the plant, but also can block nutrient absorption. It's an ugly picture and damages plants in many ways. So that's why it's so useful to have that PPM measuring capability.

Morning Col,
First you need to take a good look at your water. Check the PPM and if your in the 200-250 ppm range (or below)...you're good. But the ppm of the water needs to be included into your total ppm. So lets say you choose to run 600ppm right now. That would be 200 from your water plus 400 from your nutes to total 600ppm. That would be a good target ppm for right now. I suspect your last feeding was much higher then that.
Good luck,
JD
