well i dont know for sure what they are but u could try azamax in a drench its a natural bug killer made from plants and this shit works great for the gnats that ff dirt has in it

Diatomaceous Earth, Food Grade. Sprinkle some of that all around your plant

thye look like springtails and they are not harmful to the soil. if they are about 1 mil long and white then you are ok, try and tip off one and see does it hop. this is the spring in its tail that gives the bug its name. means your soil is healthy and these little cretins are actually doing a good job. if you get too many then there is something rotting in the soil which they love so you could give them a flush with insecticide.

in what way do you think they are killing your plants. if its springtails you hae then its something else going on that might be killing your plants!
