I've been growing my auto for around 5 weeks now, shes in the middle of her preflower phase and grown alot of very long pistils, though, I've noticed lower down the bottom of the plant theres what looks like a male pollen sack but with a very long white pistil growing out of it, is this a possible hermaphrodite or just a hanging female flower? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Thanks for the fast reply, though I'm still not convinced. Would it still flower buds and not seeds if I were too pull this possible male off? (Sorry for the noob questions this is my first time grow!) :D

You have an hermie unfortunatly, if it dosn't have too many pollen sac like the one in your picture you can just pull em with some twizzer to preven any yield lost & seeds in your buds

Ah thank you. Not too worry though, there was only one pollen sack on the whole plant, if any more pop up they'll be annihilated. It was odd though there was a pistil coming out the end of it, also this hermies pistils are about a centimeter longer than my other two girls, any idea why this might be?

Any update? Some of my pistil sacs look just like little pollen sacks for a day or two..except, they have no stem and they have a little green offshoot coming out of the bottom. One pistil comes out of the sack, and one pistil comes out of the offshoot. I have to say though, I've never seen one with a stem like that and a pistil. If it has a pistil I don't think it's a hermie.

Just keep plucking the sacs.
Haha this just made me laugh.

On a more serious note, I had a bm auto with similar growth. I was almost positive they were male sacs but they turned out to be rather oddly developed calyxs. I had no beans anywhere. I'd keep an eye on it but wouldn't worry. Maybe do what Crankyxr said and pluck em

You still on this site like dude?? can you tell me what ever happened, Ive got similar going on's and wondered what the scenario was??

You're getting wrong information that that looks like a pollen Sac is the area where it will receive the pollen and that's all it is. I ruined my first gro thinking the same thing and listening to people who don't have a clue.

Is my plant a herme what are the white things under the bud? Looks like a sack with a hairs coming out
This thread is 7 years old and you have some weird growth but mostly just looks like swollen calaxys. Just keep an eye on them if they nanners and you get more nanners, pluck them off and anymore that pop up.

No worries dude, I just had plants 5 weeks in flower that are hermie. I got the plants as clones from a buddy who said they were great but were grown from in house genetics fem seeds, I'm wary of fem seeds when growing from seeds. I only grow from reg seeds and haven't had a herm. I'm not saying that's the case for everyone but it's my experience. Be careful and dilegant out there.

Dam what did you end up doing? Did you keep them or terminate?

Nah I tossed it out, I probably could've trimmed at what I had and got a decent amount out of it...it did look and smell great but I have a bunch of really good clones rooting so its not worth it to me. I should have looked into it more(the clones my buddy gave me.) His shit looked awesome but it was from fem seed and a seed company that is known to have strains hermie under stress. When growing from seed I only grow regs and from regs I never had a herm. All I know is that's how it goes for me. So I'm now staying the fuck away from fem seeds if I do pop seeds again and in the future verify and check out the work from the clone I acquire(look at veg and flowering plants and dry bud). I never have and never will grow an auto though.
