Please help! Burnt all my new growth!

my cfl must have been touching it for a couple hours, idk what to do?

i was gonna top it soon, and would that help the new leaves that are very small and got burnt bad, if i just cut them.

or if u have any suggestions to do, please post...

What did you spray them with ... cfl wont hurts leaves .. it dosent look like heat burn .. dont spray them during light on ...

A cfl will indeed burn leaves. It's LEDs that won't burn. If the burn area is the area you were going to top off, go ahead and top it. Otherwise just leave it and let it recover the best it can.

I have done that. When I let it grow out it took like a week then it grew slow. another time I cut it off. I think that worked better depends on the size of the plant really.

I have alot of experience with cfl's..they will 100% burn leaves, And what is ruined is ruined,, focus on the new growth and healthy leaves now, forget what is dead, it is dead!

CFLs get too hot to touch - if they will burn your skin they will burn leaves.

have you found out what was causing the problem,how did you correct it?
