PLEASE HELP -Confused about how to plant germinated/sprouting seeds!

So i germinated one of my blue mystic nirvana seeds with paper towel method, and the tap root started to show and come out of the seed shell, and so i planted it into a pot of potting soil with the root facing up, about an inch down, and i'm confused on which way to plant a germinated/sprouting seed. I've researched this topic a few times and i've read to plant the seed with the root facing up, and i've also read to plant the seed with the root facing down. So i just went ahead and picked one randomly to try it out because i was so unsure. Can anyone help me on this issue with a clear answer? Will it ruin my seed/sprout/plant because i planted it with the root facing up? Thanks for anyone that can clear this up..:peace:

Growth towards a light source is a positive phototropism, while growth away from light is called negative phototropism (or Skototropism). ok i may be a little bit of a noob but i know that it doesnt really matter it wont harm your plant just make sure to keep the humidity up
