I found the dried up leaf, then saw the dust stuff on the stem. I removed it and the brown was under it. Is this stem rot? All the buds look good the plant looks good overall. Please any help will be appreciated, thanks

So does no response mean it’s no big deal? No change past couple days. Thanks again

I would spray that wound with H2O2 and then dab with a Qtip with cinnamon. Is that a snapped branch, boring worm known injury?

Stem rot is not a term I’m familiar with as a rule
And if ya help us out a bit on your concerns I’m sure you’ll get responses although not necessarily sugar coated
My first grow ever. I’ve heard of bud rot, but it’s not on the bud so I said stem rot. But I have no idea what it is

I don’t know what it is. First I found that dried up leaf, then I noticed the dust looking stuff on the stem when I removed it I found the wound under it on the stem. Buds look fine and the wound area doesn’t seem to be spreading. Overall she looks healthy. She is in coco and being fed with canna coco a b and I’m giving canna boost, she is growing outside. I haven’t found any worms or any bad bugs at all.

My suggestion is standard triage for injured plants. It kills any mold and then seals the wound by drying. I see no issues with the pics. A wind induced stress crack most likely. Cause is always first question you want to answer. Actions are as varied as potential issues.

Looks okay. Just be picky watching it. And more so at harvest. Best wishes.
