Please help! Flushing dwc. How do you do it?

How exactly do you flush a dwc? Do you get flush add it to clean ph water and keep it in there for a week, a day or wht? My fox farm nutes say to flush about every 2 weeks or so. I'm just following the schedule they give you but at half strength. Any help please

Using a 5gal bucket for dwc, It helps to have an extra bucket to put the plant along with the lid on and drain the water/flush through the medium and roots. First pour the mixture of w/e flush you have and h2o through the plant, ( about 1.5 gallon per plant), and then follow up with a .5-1 gallon of plain water and repeat every 1-2 weeks. You can use this time if you choose to clean, refill and/or add nutes and pH your reservoir.

I waited until i was seven day out and dropped the ppm to 400 at the rez change. It was higher when i chopped. Thats what i was advised to do by some one on RIU and it worked fine. Hope shes a big one
