Diztraxt welcome to RUI!

Why did you flush?
What kind of soil? Was it prefertilized?
What kind of nutes?
What strain?
Was your flush water PH adjusted?
Do you have holes in the bottom of your pop bottle pot.

The damage to the leaves will not heal, the leaves may actually get worse and fall off. Don't worry about it, they're low on the plant. It the root ball is ph balanced and the nutrient mix right then the new leaves will grow lush.

Transplant to a bigger pot, add some perlite to bring the volume to 25% of total.

its your pH out. not sure why telling him to use new soil and more perilite will do when you didnt even get an answer yet on any of the questions. root ball ph ballanced?

"not sure why telling him to use new soil and more perilite will do when you didnt even get an answer yet on any of the questions. root ball ph ballanced?"

- He has an old plant in half a 2 liter pop bottle, it needs to be ropotted. Notice the stem, woody. We can see the roots growing through the peat.
- The soil looks muddy, like there is not enough drainage. It could be that there are no holes in the bottle bottom but there is little perlite showing. More will help, perlite can be around 25% of soil volume for good drainage.
- He has just flushed, I assume it was to correct imbalanced PH or to flush over fertilization - I asked him if he PH balanced his flush water. If so he no longer has a PH problem, if not he does.

We don't have enough information to give Diztraxt a good answer, we need more info about the plant and environment.

When pot plants get bigger they like to strech out their roots. That's why I keep my moms in a trough about 1x6ft and my grow is done in a 3x3ft pot. When I was a perfectionist(years ago) the growpots had to be 4x4ft. But then I had to do things correct at that time because other people had their money into it. They just made it more convenient for me. I am not saying this is the problem but repotting might be the answer to your problem.

My bonseye is nice and green and she only gets a few drops of tap water every couple days. The plant in the pepsi bottle is all fed up already, maybe a little to much. When I use to dirt farm my plants loved it when I gave them fresh pots.

sadly hoppes is right,
more infoo
soild, miracle grow soil, but its a year old so i moronically thought the nutes were "bad" i guess
there were approx 1/4 inch holes on all the little "bumps" on the bottom of the "pot"
it is a month and half old, i should have known to switch it pots
the PH of the soil was 3-3-3 i believe
i just repotted to a 8x5 pot but sadly 1/4 of her roots got damaged, i have grown alot better before and im making alot of rookie mistakes, i do not have a PH test kit unfortunately,
i flushed 3 days ago if that helps,

you say the ph is 3-3-3...never seen ph like that and then you say you dont have a ph tester?? seems theres the answer. dont matter about the rest with no ph it wont be happy ever

yeah, I could list a whole heap of problems, but without using good water, soil and nutes, your just asking for trouble.

P.S. MEDI 1, I stopped and asked for you at the 2010growers show. I told your people to tell you I said hey.

"miracle grow soil, but its a year old"

Buy Pro Mix, Scotts, B'Cuzz, add some perlite.

.

"the PH of the soil was 3-3-3 i believe"

Do you have a PH pen to measure the PH of your water after adding nutrients. I believe that Medi 1 is correct, your original problem was nutrient lockout from PH imbalance. If you didn't balance your flush water's PH, or didn't use distilled water, you still have a PH problem.

.

"i just repotted to a 8x5 pot but sadly 1/4 of her roots got damaged"

Don't worry about the damaged roots, the residuum will bud secondary lateral roots and your new root ball will be denser. Good move.

If you used Miracle Gro fertilized soil in the new pot then repot immediately with a simple peat, perlite, vermiculum mixture - brands above. Break up the root ball and discard the new MG, keeping the inner root ball. The MG will continue to give you problems, do not fertilize.

Download the Equipment chapter of Weed Science and look at the root pruning buckets.

.

"i do not have a PH test kit unfortunately"

The Oakton 1 or 2 are around $75 to $85 online, reliable and fast readings.

my bad the soil was a N .21 P .007 K .14
so i really dont know what to do,
i feel greatly retarded if i messed up this far into the grow,
hobbes, no i didnt PH balance my water =[ used plain tap water that sat in a spray bottle for 2 days in the grow box to get it room temp then just dumped it all in there,

i do not have the money for any of that as i am only 18 and no job =[ but im trying my best to keep her alive,

ps, i have grown very well using this soil before and used a 10-15-10 fert before and have had amazing results, i think its just that i over fertilized,

man...no ph and that is all this is and always will be till oyu get a ph pen or liquid at least. you cant grow not doin ph. waste of time in my opinion. there are cheep 30 buk pens out there on ebay, not the best but its better than none. or liquid pool ones for under 10 bucks even. t adjust ph its lemon for downa nd bakin soda for up. bakin soda isnt relay all that good as it kills the microbes but i dont think its going to matter here. then use this crop to buy the real stuff.
i use humic and fulvic acids for my ph up and down and its organic and helps get foods in betetr.

well the tools we need are more important than any seed strains or nutes we buy. the tools and room are number 1
