I like that you're keeping it simple; don't overthink it and learn from every grow. They can go a fairly long time, relatively speaking, without any added nutes. Be careful of over watering; we've all done that. Keep going and be patient. Good luck.

In the future, start them in smaller pots or solo cups and up-pot to the 5gal after a couple or few weeks.
Hey so everywhere I had read said to start them in the pots they were gonna stay in or they would be stunted. So it’s better to start them smaller then transplant?

I like to start in a solo cup then move it to a 3 gal. or 5 gal. pot/bag, depending on the grow. But honestly, I'm comfortable planting the seed right into the finish pot, I just handle & water them differently. Some people struggle with one method or the other, but I find both work for me.

Hey you guys just started growing some pink runtz auto it’s my first time ever growing anything. Seedlings are about a week old and I think they aren’t doing to well could someone try to let me know what’s going on and how often in should water they are 5 gallon air bags
BTW, if it's any comfort, I've been gardening for decades and I still feel like I have no clue what I'm doing. Relax, you'll do fine.

Doesn't matter. Each have their own methods. It's just easier to overwater with bigger pots. I clone straight into 15 gal pots sometimes.

Seems okay to me. And keep watering in a perimeter around the plant. You also successfully started in the final containers so you do know more than you think you do.

Watering in a perimeter around the plant will only cause slow root growth. The roots won't chase dry medium. Best bet is a decent water and a dry back period. That way the roots will branch out and chase the moist medium lower in the pot as the top dries.

I've never had any issues starting in big pots from day one. I think it's an overplayed issue for sure. I just start in smaller pots simply so I don't have to mix much feed up and can run far less through to get decent Runoff.

Have u grown autos before because I have a couple photo plants and they’re doing better than the ones that are autos to be honest
