please help me, i just have a few questions

i have a big cardboard box set up with 4 100watt cfl;s and reflcetors, i have fans, dirt evrything i need 2 do this im just curious on how 2 keep the dirt nice nice and not moldy cause it happened to me last time and i dont wanna waste my time:wall:

Let it dry out before watering again. Also make sure you have a fan or something to keep the air moving.

doc is right to much water and high heat will cause mold. Let it dry out some, try getting to a lowes or home depot and get a moisture tester they are only about $10 and worth it or stick your finger in a couple inches (thats what she said lol) if its dry then water. I like to run a little water through the drain holes....make sure you have plenty.

The lights should be good. Just instead of wasting 10 bucks just dont water plants until the top of the soil is dry. But like he said you might want to put your finger about an inch or two under to check.

when you say 100w cfl, is that the actual wattage If it is then your definitely fine . i've noticed they advertise the packages with 65w=300w.

yeah lol theyre def "equivalent" to 400 watts total but idk im kinda confident despite what people say cause i seen my boy grow a plant from a 13 watt cfl and a 14 watt cfl only, it didnt get 2 flower tho cause he went to gotj and it died

hey if it grows it grows. more light the better though. the middle of the day sun produces 10,000 lumes per sq ft. 65w cfl= 3600-4200 lumens 400w HPS= 50,000 lumens

my cfls put out somehwere near 3500 each im not sure exactly what it said but i have 4 of them and no, m trying to set this up in a big box and with those cfls it wont b 2 hot
