What i want to know is when do u check the ph level......before the nutrients or after u put the nutrients in the water of a drip system.....and whats the ph level need to be when i check
When you add anything to the water you change the pH. So always do that last.
For hydro grow you want about 5.7 in veg and 6.0 in flower. Soil is a constant 6.5
i would think that in hydro systems you would wanna check it every day and for sure after you change your res and add nutes. in a hydro system i think it should be 5.5 hope this helps
Yea, 5.5 is like a standard in hydro, I'm telling you what works best.
The nutrient uptake on a plant changes in flower and a higher pH makes more nutrients available to the plant.
