So, one of my best buds has this just retarded situation and I feel so much sympathy for him that I feel the need to dab into it more. I don't know to much about anatomy or health myself and google probably wouldnt be able to help me figure out such a specific issue. Discussion would work best.
So, he is having this ridiculous back pain. He says that it starts in his spine and shoots/spreads in his lower back, and sometimes goes up into his upper back an shoulders. The pain is bad, I see him unable to move frequently. He gets sent home from work almost every day because it's that bad. Drugs do not work. And trust me he's tried it all. Opiates, marijuana, even MXE.. None of it works. He's also been to the doctor a lot. He's had x-rays, MRI's, he says every test imaginable and they just prescribe him but the meds don't work. He doesn't know what to do and I am very genuinely worried for him because he is losing a lot of sleep, activities, work.. I mean, it's just a mess and I don't know how to narrow down what his problem could even be. Do you guys know anything about this?

Not that it really is relevant but maybe. He also gets bad migraines, has asthma.
I thought it'd be something to do with the nervous system since it shoots like he was explaining. But what do I know? Absolutely nothing. Lol

I live with something similar, nerves when damaged can take years depending on your body to rebuild and most times the body can only heal it so much. Like above shots are a route to take that works for many people. I'd suggest trying acupuncture as well anything to relieve muscle stress. Also stretching the tight muscles can sometimes bring relief as well. My day is filled with stretching only way I get through it.

Thanks for the advice man! I'll make sure and tell him that!

cn, it was not prescription.. lol, we were using that one recreationally. We bought it and didn't know if it'd help him or not haha. It didn't help the pain but he liked it because it did zone him out to where the pain was.. Disconnected. But it was still there.. Badly.. He says. Plus he happened to have a migraine towards the end of that night, so that made my spark of sympathy towards his helplessness even more present. He says this barbiturate he has a very small amount of access to is the only thing that actually takes the pain. So I don't know, you guys seem to know more about how molecules affect which parts and blah blah, so first off, I've never dabbled into barbs. Wtf are they even? I'll do some reading. Anyways he says that's the only thing that truly works temporarily.

Okay, okay. I will certainly give him this advice too! Acupuncture and acupressure seem to both be some very beneficial things that most people don't like the 'image' of doing. I don't understand why. I've had acupuncture several times and it works. I don't know what it is... I've been trying to expand more into this yoga, chakra, sacred geometry realm more lately. Very interesting, and not taking any of it too literally would both help me keep an open mind and apparently keep myself in tune and in balance. Good stuff. I feel like yoga specifically would be a good tool for him. Meditation also, but only in positions where it doesn't trigger the back pain.

Thanks a lot for the help guys! I'll probably update this thread later if there are any more problems :)
