Hello all I am in some dire need of help here my setup is...
plants:3 bagseed from black cherry kush (who knows really) and one nirvana nothern lights and all are 3 weeks into veg in one gallon containers.

grow space is 24"x30" 2 feet tall
temps: 75f and 45%RH
lights: 250 watts mixed spectrum cfl

soil: 50%ffof, 20%perlite, 20% vermiculite, 10% EWC mixed in tsp of espoma biotone starter and jobes biozome w/ archae

nutrients: so far i have only innoculated with oregonism during transplant and first two waterings plants got humic acid and baccilus innoculant, 2 drops superthrive per quart, last watering got 1/4 tsp fish and kelp fert and some black strap mollases.

My nirvana nothern lights has been drooping and curling like an dupside down gondola. old leaves are starting to die off... It transplantsed fine and took off growing 3 sets of nodes in its new one gallong pot before this started happening it started at first to just look like underwatering it was drinking its water faster than all ther other plants so i would give it a cup when it got bone dry so it could last till the rest when it got watered. each one gallon container gets a quart of water every 3rd day. i thought it was maybe a cal mag issue so last time i water with some superthrive, Roots organics elemental(this has fish proteing hydrolysate, calcitic lime and gypsum) and half aerated tap half RO...this was yesterday today didnt look any better or worse the other plants friggin loved it and perked up an hour after watering. last week i did foliar feed some extreme serene(kelp) i used 1/8th tsp in a quart of water and this didn't help maybe for a few hours but it's still getting worse. this morning i foliared with 1/4 tsp of epsom salts with a drop of superthrive and this seemed to help leaves didn't feel so papery and the stem straightened up a lil bit.....i'm really at a loss here i mean everything should be doing fine seeings i'm not ferting it that much minimal fish/kelp/molasses...please help i don't know what to do all the others are fine i've thought about everything could it just be rootbound and wanting a bigger pot?? i'm afraid to transplant when it's so stressed out. i've never smoked pure northern lights and i was soooo looking forward to it. i have about a dozen harvested grow under my belkt please help me get a couple more guys.

Heres what to do. Throw the kitchen sink in there too ya noob. Stop piling every thing in there and theyll be fine. Ffof has enough nutes at 50% ratio to last for a month. What did you think would happen when you poured all that shit in there?
imagine how i would grow a tomato plant outside in my garden. I would add my ffof mix and biotone to a pot. Transplant my start into the pot. Water it and then pretty much forget about doing anything except water it until i saw fruits starting to form. Then id add fertilizer a couple of times. Do that, dont do what your doing or youll grow doo-doo plants. Flush hard, now and again in a couple days when they dry out again. Hopefully you didnt kill em. Then only feed em water for a month and while your doing that read some shit on here about how to grow with ffof and try to keep from flappin your gums about growing cause your not good at it......yet ;)

thank you for your not so kind words alienwidow. i have 4 plants in the veg room all the others are doing fine thats where the mystery ensued. thy are bright green and growing like weeds. i do have a veggie garden and i grew up on a farm so please dont belittle me. i AM new to inside gardening but ive never had problems in tbe past with this regiment. I was told to innoculate upon transplant and that humic opens cell walls and makes the benneys bond to the root system. superthrive was started when the ONE plant looked bad. i will take your advice and use water only maybe this NL is just really sensitive..also i thought molasses and kelp were mandatory to keep colony alive..ph of soil is right under 7. Im thinking straight RO water might not be best. Next few waterings I'll do half RO half aerated tap. tap ph is 8.5 so RO will maybe tone it down. Ill keep yall updated....

First off disregard AlienChilds comments. You're not growing "doo-doo" plants, her mommy just dropped her on the beach without her diaper and she got some sand pounded up her little vagina.

Your post is hard to read with no paragraphs or capitalization but I skimmed it.

I picked up on your watering regime. qt/gallon/3 days

I generally water 1/2 gallon every 4-6 days in each 5 gallon pot. So watering at 10% of soil volume. (water/soil)

You are watering at 25% volume (qt/gal) almost twice as often, or roughly 5X the amount of water I use, so I'm guessing there's a chance it is a watering issue.

There's dozens of variables regarding watering frequency needs (temp, humidity, airflow, medium etc) but what you described sounds excessive.

Good luck

Thank you for your time AimAim. My temps have been pretty steady at 77, but have not always been this way. RH is now running steady at 47%.

This is a brand new growing space so it took a while to get the environment dialed in. At the beginning of this grow temps were steady in the high 80's and RH was down to low 30's.

I added two 8 inch fans on low to blow across canopy and one 4 inch exhaust fan on the lights. I also added a couple cups of water to bring up RH, and then everything levelled at the specs I just mentioned.

They have been in this environment for about ten days. Before this high temps and low RH was drinking the water up. I would not water until bone dry and light as a feather. The problem plant would always get dry/light first.

Should I bring it down to 3/4 quart, and just water plain tap for the next couple weeks until I transplant into 3 gallon containers?

Or should I do a mini flush to remove additives then continue with less frequent waterings. I did notice last couple waterings in new enviro they weren't as light as they WERE getting after 3 days, but this was the routine so I continued....

WOW! I come here asking for advice and help and this is what i get?? I guess I should find another website where they're a little more kind. Why would someone go to a help forum then humiliate the people asking for help???!

Hey there guys. Just thought I would share what my lovely ladies look like days before the chop. THey're gorgeous. Thank you aimaim for your help but the rest of you were no help at all and pretty discouraging. So discouraging in fact that I decided I should ask for help at an international cannabis forum. They hit the nail on the head and continued with help until my ladies turned into these. Keep up the negativity and pompous remarks because the teenage arrogance made me only more bound and determined. thanks!!!

Might as well tell us what you did to turn things around.

And, please, your avatar is a little weird

Its burt reynolds! Its american as it gets.

I ended up ammending some soil and letting it do a quick 2.5 week cook. I hit the cooking soil with small amounts of aact just to speed it up.

While soil cooked I topped the ladies off with EWC, FFOF & mushroom compost. This kept them green till I could reinnoculate and transplant.

Aimaim was right. My watering was way off and that combined with all the additives murdered my microherd.

I now very rarely add liquids. Most of my Roots Organics products seem to do fine in low doses going into my aact.

I'm glad you got help and figured it out. As painful as it may have been at the time, a good learning experience, eh?

This forum is like any other. Sometimes people are just a little cranky and they'll gang up on someone for no particular reason.

Sometimes it's small things that set people off. Like an avatar.
