First grow since the early 90's and I am struggling. Not sure if it's the strains these days but I have had problems since seedlings. I can't figure it out. Growing in soil. I mixed top soil, black dirt, vermiculite, perlite and sphagnum. I really believe the soil started alot of the issues. They are in a 5x5x8 vivosun tent. Started seedlings under a couple cheap led grow bulbs. Then I put them under a 315w CMH. Was using tap water but switched to distilled a couple weeks ago. I try to keep the water ph around 6.5. After the first 2 weeks I was growing mushrooms like crazy in the soil. After removing them i eventually got rid of those but noticed stunted growth, yellowing and dying leaves. I may have also over watered in the beginning also. They are in 5 and 7 gallon grow bags. I dont believe I'm over watering any more. I can put my whole finger in dry soil before I water now. I also along the way had gnat all over and probably in the soil too. It seems I have them under control now. So I started with 10 plants down to 6 now. I'm about 2 months into the grow and these 6 are looking bad! Yellowing, dying on edges, weird spots on the leaves that range in color and size. These girls have thrown everything at me and I'm just stumped. I used purecrop1 to fight the gnats. Was feeding them Alaska fish fertilizer. But switched to cns17 veg grow. I think the gnats were attracted to the fish. Any help I'd appreciate!

Mushrooms were a good sign eh? You should have left vermiculite out and really added the perlite. I see potassium deficiency at least. With a 2 mbps connection I have trouble getting more pictures to open.

All I see is heavily underwatered plant, typical damage visible on the first picture...

I also try to go by the weight of the grow bag. I'll get pics of them today and share. I'm up to try anything at this point but was told I was over watering and started letting them dry out about 3 days.

I agree with HRH...potassium issue. Maybe some Ca issues as well. As for how to fix it I really don't want to put myself out there because I am not sure TBH. I have never used any medium except for FFHF, quality product no amendments necessary with the small exception of some perlite.

Thank you for an honest answer! I sprouted 2 in happy frog and put under a T5. They are doing great! Dont want to lose all these tho. I've been wondering about potassium and cal mag. Being clueless to the issue and stress they have ben through I'm scared to give them anything...

Thank you! Any suggestions on fixing the potassium issue? I've bought so many products already that I may have one. I have Peter's 20-20-20 but dont want to burn them

Yup I agree with hotrod.... start weak n work your way up. Not much else I can think of... there’s no instant overnight fix for sure. As long as they are in veg and you get it under control before flower you’ll be fine. By the way.... they don’t look that bad. Just a littles stressed maybe hungry too.

Yeah but I struggle with appearance lol. So how would I just raise the potassium? So sick of googling this stuff. It becomes contradicting...

Honestly I use the nutes I buy and have not had these issues. And ya looking it up is nuts. Too much bs.... I would do some research on the additives out there n see what has potassium in it n then figure which one is highest, if I were going to go that route. I would slowly build them up to nutes again n just keep goin. There in veg with time to spare. Don’t go nuts you could seriously damage them if you fuck up. Just my thoughts.

Does anyone think this could possibly be light burn from having the CMH light to close?
I wanted to tell you that you have visible burn in mid part of your plant, but I do not see the light in your second set of pics you posted. Did you rise it up before you took the snapshots?
