A lot of strainswont start smelling "dank" until week 8-9. Some just don't until harvest. They rarely put off the "weed" smell prior unless they're being hurt.

Not all strains will totally stink up your house, but it should at least smell good if you get up close and sniff it. If you want really dank, reeking bud there are lots of top tier skunk/diesel strains out there, you just have to start with genetics. And it helps if you make sure it gets plenty of sulfur and amino acids (like fish hydrolysate).

My two HSO Passionfruit punches don’t really stink rt now they’re about the same age... but when I touch them to check them out then my hand carries a nice tropical/berry smell

I just finished a Red Dragon (Brazilian Sativa + Pakistani Kush cross) and it actually smelled more in Veg than in Flower.
Unless of course you touch it and got some resin on your fingers, which really smelled.

Generally you don’t flush. It’s a waste of time and water. Honestly just taper down your feed the last two 2 weeks if you want but other than that there’s no need.
