Ok. so this is my first Grow.......

Im using MG soil w/ slow release nutes.< i feel this is my biggest problem.
also i have 5 23w cfls.
temps stays at 80.
watering with distilled wally world wata.
they were in a box, however temps stayed between 80-90 so i moved them in a room with a oscillatin fan.
as of today there 2wks and 3 days old. flushed them last night, after reading sme threads by closet.cult and spittn.....

What i want to know is whats going on? will they survive? how to bring them back, these are my babys and i'd hate to lose 'em...

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!:cry::cry::cry:

If this is your first grow, why are you getting so involved? Just fuckin germinate, plant and water. Organic tomato food is good for em too. Just try to get yields, doing too much dumb shit will just kill the little fuckers. Getting a lot of semi-good weed is better than trying to get good ass weed and killing them

And 80-90 degrees is fine, they grow in south America and Afghanistan and shit where its a hell of a lot hotter

well last night they were about 3-4 inches away. i thought perhaps it was heat stress so now there about a foot away. also ive been running them on a 24 light cycle since they sprouted.

get them out of that soil into something gentle, dont overwater or fuck about with them they should have enough food in the soil to take them up to about the 3rd week of flowering if you use biggish say 12 - 15ltr pots, leave them alone and they will do ok.

Ok, so basically, if i transplant, perhaps into seed starter soil, i can save my babys? 2 are in 6in pots and two in gatorade makeshift pots. how would i safely transplant with that much soil in there? im just afraid of damaging what precious little roots i might still have after, quite ignorantly, trying to flush my slow release soil......... :(

want your plants to live?

go to a NURSERY get foxfarm ocean forest soil, some 5 gallon pots, a moisture/ph meter you can stick in the soil, a water ph kit and a bottle of age old grow. transplant into the new soil being careful not to damage the roots, just go slowly they will be fine. make sure the new soil is nice and moist but not like a watery mush. keep those cfls like 6 inches above the top of the plant and position a fan about 3 feet away on low just to get decent airflow going. make sure you have a window open occasionally so the air gets renewed. make sure to keep your plants moist with a spray bottle (but dont drench them) and MAKE SURE you ph your water to between 6 and 6.5. this is very important, because without slight acidity the plant will lose nutrients. if you need to lower the ph just add some lemon juice (little goes a long way) until you have the proper acidity. most tap water is slightly alkaline and has minerals in it the plant needs - if you use purified water you wont get the iron, magnesium, calcium etc that it requires. fill a large open container with tap water and let it sit for a day so the ammonia and chlorine traces will evaporate. dont worry about feeding the plant nutes until you've gotten a couple inches of new growth, or else you may burn the roots and shock the plant. eventually, when it starts going again you can put it back on nutes - take about a capfull of age old grow for each gallon of water and add it in every 3 or 4 days. dont over water! use that moisture meter! also, make sure you are using daylight cfl's with a 5000k rating. when you flower you will switch to soft white with a 2700k rating.

WONDERFUL F*IN advice. thanx for all who help, i believe all my cfls are of the 2700k rating, is this that critcal seeing as i have limited money right now, in which most is going on new better soil and hopefully ph meters as well.... THANX AGAIN!!!!!

you can grow with 2700k cfls but it will take a long time....when you have the money go get yourself some light socket splitters and 6 26 watt daylight cfls (will cost you 20 bucks at home depot) and put them all 6 inches over the plant. as it gets bigger you can put the 2700k cfls on the sides of the plant for extra light to the lower leaves but that should be enough. when you are ready to flower change those out with 6 of the big 42 watt 2700k cfls and put the smaller ones around the sides of the plant. i am an avid cfl grower myself and i believe with the right amount of lights and the correct spacing, you can grow equally as healthy plants as the big hps lamps grow. it just takes a little longer but costs a whole lot less.

also, at any nursery you can find a ph test kit for water its just a little eyedropper bottle with a testing tube for 10 bucks. that is your best friend for you can ph the water going into the plant and you can gather and test the runoff. ph is VERY important, if you don't keep your levels consistent the plant will stress.
