Please help!! Struggling seedlings!!

ok it was totally said butt i stand by saying that mg has managed to kill 3 possible plant i was trying they were maye 4 days old and easily murdered by it

thanks again cruzer that makes sense. before i transplanted it looked like they were stretching so i buried them a little further up the stem (covered the top of the rockwool). my questions are, now that the stems are uncovered again ,will that have any effect on their growth? also should i be worried about some residual soil on top of the cubes? i dont want to water the tops and have even more unnecessary food reach the roots if that could happen. and finally, should i be worried about stretching at this point? heres a shot of where the light is sitting now.

14 days from seed i think. does anyone think i should put my tall humidome over them? it fits...

That not needed at this point unless you have no humdidity in the grow area.
Its best to stay around 50% I use a small tub of water, take a small rag and get it wet and hang it above the tub of water so the tip of the rag is in the water. The rag will wick the water up and disperse the humidity.
Oh yea, a small fan blowing on the rag helps.

alright cruzer i think im good with humidity in that case. but hey check it out so i transplanted them out of that seedling death soil and into this straight perlite 5 days ago. they seemed to be getting gradually worse on their way to death until today when i noticed that a few seemed to be shooting out some new baby leaves. granted, they still look one bad move away from shriveling up and dying but my hopes are that they are finally over the shock of that potent ass miracle gro and the transplant i had to do as a result of my ignorance. what do you guys think tho? are these ladies gonna turn around for me?

oh and should i do any trimming ?

I actually used miracle grow a while back and had the exact same things happen that you're experiencing. I pretty much let them do their own thing, and when the soil got dry enough, I flushed the crap out of them, and let them dry out and repeated. However my seedlings have all come back so far and are starting to take off better.
You can see this one had yellowish leaves at first as well as a bit of burning on the tips but the new leaves are darker, and look healthier that the first set.

A buddy of mine from a nearby dispensary gave my this giant bubba kush plant. He started from seed, germinated and grew this girl in a 5 gallon pot of FFOF soil ph is 6.5 and she hasn't been fed any nutes at all, Only RO water.

Obviously from now on I will be using Fox Farms. lol

What you are seeing is the seedling using the small amount of stored nutrients it had in its leaves to produce new root growth. Congrats, they look good to me. Keep doing what you are doing.

cooool. im relieved. thought i was gonna lose them for sure but now im optimistic. assuming they survive and start to show some nice vigorous growth, what should my long-term plan be as far as growing medium? long term in this case is only until they can each give me at least 5 nice clones with no need to live on as mothers. i plan to speed up this process using LST to bush them out when they are strong enough and have a few nodes but i would like to put them back in the original clay pots instead of these emergency styro cups. im leaning towards everyones favorite brand and putting them back into some Fox Farms soil, (little bat guano/worm castings maybe?) but i could be so wrong. but if i am on the right track, how is the transplant going to go given that they are growing in straight perlite?

p.s. nice meezy, those 2 fan leaves are massive

No problem, In a couple weeks they should have 2 or 3 new sets of leaves.
There roots systems will be about as big as the plant. give them a good watering the day before then transplant in the morning or before lights on and another good watering after transplant. Give them 2 or 3 days to get used to the new soil and start growing again. If these are just for cuttings and wont be in pots for months then no need to add anything to FF soil.

Once you get 4 nodes top, then top the tops. In another month or so you will have all the cuttings you need.
BTW for faster growth fill the clay pots with perlite and pick up a small bottle of hydro grow nutes, mixin R/O or filtered water and feed at half strength with ph at around 6.0

thanks again cruzer. i probably will just finish in perlite now that you said that. i have a big jug of CNS17 already (which can also be used for soil incidently...). You say about half strength..about how many ppm should i feed to start?

I start my girls at about 300ppm, go a week or so and try 500 for two weeks. If no burn I go 700ppm and keep it there.
