As it's christmas....

Listen - do not water that pot at all - put it in its place and talk to it, sing to it, play it fukin Mozart if you like - do not touch, do not play with, do not poke, tickle or tell it bad jokes. Leave that plant - it may be a week, or more or less - until when you lift the pot it feels a whole lot different to what it does right now, then keep a close eye on it and wait - wait for it to droop all its leaves and its top tip is falling over on itself. Then - and only then, feel the weight of the pot with no water in it. Then give your plant half a pint of nice refreshing water in a three inch radius around the stem and sit with it while it gets a whole lot better - wait for it to use up that water and start to show signs of needing more and then THINK about how much you might give it as a sensible dose....Do this and let me know what happens in this thread - don't do it and I don't want to know.

IDK why you're even fucking around with water now, Jack already told you repeatedly not to water it for a while, as did myself and a couple others I think.
Don't mix any water before you're ready to use it, so just put your new shit away for now.

Ooh, touchy aren't we? I've read all of it pal. Stop confusing the op and making things more complicated than they are. Oh, and while we're chucking silly appeals to authority about - I'm a agri/horticulture professional, but only for 30 years though
OMG! let me go get my boots on,here cones the bullshit train! If there was one more horticultural pro on this site we could start a university. You must have got your degree online man. Cause you dont know shit! here are my top three reasons I know your blowing smoke.
1. water often and lightly------anyone who has any experience knows this is the complete opposite of what should be done. You almost got it right when you spoke of a wet/dry cycle. But the practice of often and light contradicts a wet dry cycle.

2. Let the plant dry out,let the plant and leaves wilt..... Are you kidding me? never induce stress on a plant. It has no benefit at all and can only cause problems. When a plant wilts the cell walls have collapsed, temp as that may be it is still stress.

3. You said your a horticultural pro.

finally someone whos helped me out since Page one, not saying anyone eles hasnt cause they have but mountain seems he more experienced bout growing and on the forums,

but Dude mountain should i water her mabe 2marro cause the soil is drying up pretty fast and i aint waiting a fuckin week to damn water her im sorry call me stupid or what ever but if the soil is Damn near dry i should water by sunday if not monday right? also the pot does feel lighter and when i did the transplant the soil wasnt all that Moist, it was moist just like how you get soil right out of the bag and i dont wanna have to Dry out the roots to the point it dies completely. ive also read other users who had the same issue like mine and waterered there plant after a transplant and it seems to help during the shocking of it,

OK, I know you didn't ask ME, but I'm gonna toss in my 2 cents.
A lot of reading has brought me to the conclusion that there is about 60/40 don't water/ do water, but myself, I do water right after transplanting, and mine always seem to keep right on growing, not slowing or anything.

OK, here goes.
I'm not saying it's the "right way", but the way I water is I water from the stem all the way to the pot.
I pour slowly, (a good habit to get into because it helps avoid splash if/ when you have nutes in your water.), and also because it allows the water to flow through all the soil, not just where it finds loose pockets.
I water until there's some runoff coming out, then some more.
Usually I make enough water mixture so that I know I have extra, and as I said, don't mix it until you're ready to use it, so I pour everything through.
Now that I am in a 5 gallon pot, usually that's about 5 liters, or a little over a gallon.
I know I am getting close to time to water, weight, and by being able to squeeze my pot, and the soil flexes with the pot, and is kinda crispy on top.
Now.
Getting to you.
Due to the way I water, which is how I used to do with vegetables, house plants, etc., I don't like Peat, because if you have a rootball in the middle only, due to always being wet and the roots never having to grow in search of water, you will end up with a soggy mess in the middle, while the rest of the pot feels bone dry.
Now, in your case, I think that's what happened, is you have that wet chunk in the middle, so it's going to be a balancing act with trying to keep it alive, while at the same time trying to keep it dry enough to make the roots grow out.
So, that said, if YOU think you should water, my suggestion would be to only water the outer portion of the soil, close to the pot, not directly around the stem.

thanks mountain sent you a message back

and thank you too bakatare666 ill try that and im not growing in Peat my plant came from the club which was grown in rockwool bro.

also when i did the transplant the roots werent growing out at all it was really odd to me cause i was thinkin there where gunna be Big and Huge, but they were pretty much in the same spot kinda like suffocating it making it retain moister also giving me issue that why i posted on here, i think its due to me not breakin up the rootball good enough so the roots thought there where in the same pot as last time, but this time i broke them up and Damn are the big n huge now and you where right that pot i was gunna put them in iss waaay too small cuz my plant is bout 2 feet tall (i kno i fucked up) so now shes back in the 5gal cause i broke up the rootball CAREFULLY and now her roots have a chance to spread out,,,
