Please help

Sorry for the double post guys but the outdoor section was getting me no where and iam a little tight for time..cut and pasted....Got a quick question about growing outside with pails.
Due to security reasons I have decided to grow a few plants in 20 litre pails and then burying them so that in the event of site compromise, I will be able to relocate them.
Should I maybe fill the bottom of the hole with a layer of rocks for drainage ease?. If so how many holes should I drill in the bottom of the pails? Same like a normal pot?
Also, will a 20 litre pail be sufficient throughout the grow season. Will I end up with root-bound plants? Yield is not my top priority as I am growing for personal use.
Any tips and information would be greatly appreciated

k lets see here

you want to fill the bottom of the pale with rocks for drainage.

i also recommend using perlite in every mix

20 liter will be fine you should not end up with root bound plants

check out my grow journal in my link. i'm also growing outdoor
