Please help!!

first off i dont have a camera but will have pics up within a week so i apologize but any help would be appreciated. i have three ladies i germinated and put in grodan blocks and worked my way up to the largest block and my plants are about five six inches tall but im on my 3rd or 4th week of veg. I am using a 150 watt hps at 22 in. above the plants. started using regular tap water and it worked up until a week ago when i started to feed them with nutes but im pretty sure i gave them too much i was spraying down the grodan blocks 3 times a day with a water/ cheap nute suply. I have a fan blowing 24/7 and also my light. the probolem i am having is my first set of fan leaves are curling upwards and getting crisp. i am on my third set of leaves and hav recently threw away the old nutes and got some cal mag plus and fox farm grow big 3-2-6 which i am mixing with water and only feeding every three days but in between i am spraying down twice a day with tap water and giving each lady 10ml of water twice a day. didnt have enough money today to get a ph tester and im sure that is one of the problems. i am wondering if this watering system might fix it or if there is something else wrong? also i am keeping the temp in between 68 and 78 degrees. please help!!!!

Tap is usually too alkaline. If your shooting in the dark without a tester id try lowering it little by little and lowering the nutes concentration.

thanks for the info will work on gettin that taken care of in the next day or two. also one thing i forgot is one of the three is curling up alot and 2 of three is just wilting but 3 of three looks perfectly fine and the two that have problems leaves are both dry. and one has a small brown spot. and its only happening on the oldest set of fan leaves. again im sorry no pics but i will also have those up in a day or two and im sorry for saying and so much. and.

one more thing. when the roots are too big for the grodan blocks i am puting them in a tray with four to five inches of hydroton with a res. underneath with a pump on timer to go off three times a day and a drainage hose for when it gets to high that goes straight back down to the res.

I've been growing in hydroton for a few years now and I have my drippers on a 15 min on/off timer. I've just pushed down every second tab on the timer. I try to keep the water from directly touching the rockwool cube as it causes algae. An aquarium PH testing kit usually costs around $10. I highly recommend you get one of those and start thinking about getting an EC truncheon to stop yourself from overfeeding. A cheap EC meter costs about $80, but is well worth it in the long run.

thanks man do you have it dripping just next to the stem? and how often each day like an hour three times a day? and last question should i just have it dripping regular water from my res. maybe with an oxygen rock in there and then still feed them with the nute solution every three days? and also check the resivoir ph daily

No PH tester? That's you're problem, bet on it, and if not, it will be, soon. I know for a fact the CalMagPlus drops PH, and I'm pretty sure the FF fert will too(I use DynaGro and it drops the PH alot), as most do. It sounds like it could also be possible nute-burn, which is likely. In that case, either flush them, or flush them and transplant to a bigger pot. Or, you could just transplant, but it'll take longer to recover if you don't flush those old nutes out first.

cool so ill flush for the next few days am i watering the right amount? 10ml twice a day? should i start the nutes again in about a week when i get a damn ph tester?

I'm not real good with knowing how much 10ml is, 'cause i use the U.S.A's wacko system.LOL Anyway, I'm not a hydro guy, so i'm not going to say whether that is right or wrong, because I'm not sure. But, I will agree with you that you should wait to test your fert before you start using it agin, as long as it's not going to be more than a week or so.


Also, when they go into bloom make sure you bring that light down alot, to like 14" or less, or you won't get much yield. You should consider going up to a 400, that'll make a big difference.

ive been flushing for the past couple days and they still look like theyre depressed! most likely the ph in my tap water goin to get a tester today i cant stand to look at my babies like this anymore!
